• A lesson plan varies according to subject
• Purposes
– To help teachers plan and organize the lesson
– To help teachers keep a record of the work done
– To guide teachers during instruction
Parts of a Lesson Plan
• A lesson plan should contain four main elements:
– The objectives of the lesson, and the intended learning outcome
– The contents of the lesson
– The methods of organizing the content and the activities
– The conclusion and follow-up activities
