MEANINGFUL AND HAPPY LIFE We live in a globalized world where technology allows for an unlimited stream of information. Society promotes that instant gratification and material possessions are often the measure of one’s wealth. But what brings happiness to one’s life? What makes life meaningful? Rafael Batista, 4th year student studying Psychology and International Affairs, is exploring the key differences between a happy life and a meaningful life and how these ideas are reflected across cultures for his undergraduate thesis under the direction of Dr. Roy Baumeister. Reflect on these questions as they apply to your life and contribute to this project by clicking here. For more information, contact Rafael at [email protected].
