Your StoryEVERY WEDDING HAS A STORY.

I WANT TO TELL YOURS.

Insightful. Sincere. Funny. Breathtaking.

I specialise in emotive and amazing photographs of one of the most important days of your relationship. I love shooting progressive storytelling images. I love doing this at weddings. Your wedding.  I love satisfying my customers beyond their expectations. I believe that every wedding has its own story and that your day should be about allowing you to spend as much time as possible being a part of it.  I'll be there to remind you of tender moments and show you some of the things you never knew happened. You will relive your day through the images that I capture. Wedding photography in the first person.

I would love to tell your wedding story.

Choosing the Right P hotographer MEMORIES THAT LAST A LIFETIME | Planning a wedding is a massive task. Deciding who you want to capture it will be one of the most important decisions you'll have to make. When the day is over it will be the images that remain. Those images will live on to remind you of the love, emotions and good times had on your most special of days.

So how do you choose the best wedding photographer for you?

CHOOSE A PHOTOGRAPHER THAT SEES A WEDDING AT A DEEPER LEVEL

Your wedding is more than a shot list. It's an organic event and whilst many weddings may have similar characteristics yours is entirely unique. It's my job to seek out the connections between people and show you everything that made your day special and allow you to relive it forever.

VIEW PORTFOLIO IMAGES FROM AN ENTIRE WEDDING

I will capture amazing images throughout your wedding day. From heart warming connections to simple details. Everything matters. To illustrate this I’m happy to share complete weddings (possibly from your venue) to give you complete confidence in my abilities in photographing your wedding.

CHOOSE AN EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONAL

Nearing 500 weddings I’ve seen pretty much every type of lighting and weather combination you can think of. I’m committed to telling the story of your day and offering as much advice as I can give. Experience has it’s benefits and I’m happy to assist you before, during and after the wedding.

Love Letter JANET AND IAN Rhinefield House

We both wanted to thank you for the huge contribution you made to our very special wedding day. Photography plays such an important and fundamental part at any big event.

Knowing from the outset that we were planning a non-conformist wedding with plenty of random events to snap up, we were looking for a photographer that we knew would capture the very essence of our special day. After seeing you at work and the amazing photographs from a friend’s wedding, you were our “no-brainer” instant choice.

It goes without saying, having a great photographer at a wedding is critical. But we also think it is really important if you want to see those moments you missed or couldn’t see. We can honestly say that we laughed, gasped, cried, hugged and pointed at the screen when reviewing your images.

Throughout the whole event you were respectful, understanding, patient, fun, engaging and often “invisible” to us and our guests. In a word. AWESOME!

Booking Your P hotographer LET’S GET TOGETHER | We can do this by phone, over coffee, in my home office or by Skype/Facetime. I’m flexible. We can chat about your day where you can share all your fantastic ideas and ask me questions about how I work and get some advice from an experienced wedding professional. I’ll show you examples of my wedding albums and if we have time show you a slideshow from one of my most recent weddings. We will talk about packages and make sure that there’s one just for you.

Should you wish to book I will prepare a contract for you to review online with a quote and all the information required to pay the retainer fee. Once complete I’m officially your wedding photographer.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT | Here’s a timeline for you:

Between 6 and 4 weeks before the wedding - I’ll get in touch to arrange a final details call. If you would like to meet in person you are welcome to visit me at my home office. We will go over the timings for the day and set expectations for you and me. We can discuss the family groups and any other important details you would like to share. It’s all about feeling confident that you can simply turn it all over to me on the day.

4 weeks before the wedding - Your final payment is due. Payment is super easy by bank transfer. I do accept cheques if you prefer.

On the day - This is where the meeting 4 to 6 weeks previous pays off. Just sit back and let the day unfold. I’ve got you covered.

1 week after your wedding - With your permission I’ll post a few images on my Facebook Business page for you to share and tag with family and friends.

4 Weeks after your wedding - Within 4 weeks you should receive your USB in the post ready to share. The USB will also have your slideshows so book in some friends or family for a bottle of bubbly and a box of tissues to dry your eyes..

Engagement Sessions SHOW YOUR LOVED ONES HOW IT ALL BEGAN | Engagement sessions add so much to the story of who you are as a couple right now, and they’re an ideal way to become more comfortable in front of the lens before your wedding day.

Your engagement session can be as simple as a stroll through your favourite park or even a romantic return to where he proposed — anything you can imagine to share the imagery of your personal love story.

Formal or informal, images from your engagement session are beautiful additions to your wedding memories, and also make a wonderful signing book. They help to craft the whole story, and can even be used for save-the-date cards, invitations or thank you cards.

Connections PEOPLE MAKE A WEDDING | The old saying "a picture is worth a thousand words" is never more true than when you can see and feel what is happening in the images in front of you through the unspoken language of the eyes. I've taken hundreds of thousands of images and I'm always struck at how I am drawn to images that tell a story. The best stories were the ones that communicated everything you needed to know through the eyes of the people in the photograph. It is certainly what I look for when I photograph weddings. You can see humour, love, surprise, shock, admiration, nervousness, fear and solitude. A wedding day isn't just about the couple or the flowers. It's about the feelings that everyone experienced. I will be there to document them.

Devil in the Details BORROWED OR BLUE - IT’S ALL SPECIAL TO YOU | The dress. The cake. Her flowers. His tie. You spend a lot of time making a wedding look like your wedding. The details are small but so important in expressing who you are and what you are both about. Documenting this helps bring back the memories of how you chose them and why they were important to you. I always ensure I record them.

Love Letter KIRSTY AND ELLIOT

Gate Street Barn

Elliot and I just wanted to say thank you so much. You were absolutely fantastic and all the guests commented on how nice you were and how they didn't even realise they were being photographed. Paul in particular loves the photo you took of him with the blocks on the table (in fact it's already his profile pic on Facebook!). It's a great shot!

Elliot and I also both love the shot of the two of us by the Farmhouse. We are so excited to see them all! Our 'photoshoot' after the breakfast was wonderful and so calm. You really made us feel incredibly relaxed and doing it when we did was a great idea on your part.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
