The Bedford Arms is a privately owned Country House Hotel with

18 rooms. Situated in the Chilterns in the historic village of Chenies,

close to the Bucks/Herts border and set in 3 acres of beautiful

landscaped gardens, it is the ideal venue to celebrate your wedding.

Our dedicated Wedding co-ordinator will assist you every step of the

way and if you would like to put that personal touch on your

wedding we have theme companies to hand.

Our excellent catering team and your own Event’s Manager will

ensure that your special day runs smoothly.

The Registrar Details

The charges above apply to the room hire only.

We are unable to book the registrar on your behalf.

If you would like to use the hotel for your

Ceremony, you will need to contact the registrar directly with

The Registrar can check availability for dates for up to 2 years in

advance. Please note, however that Notice of Marriage for both

parties can only be booked within 12 months or less of your preferred

date.

Please note that descriptions and prices are correct at time of going to press. While every effort is made

to ensure accuracy of the information pack is correct, The Bedford Arms Hotel reserves the right to

change prices and descriptions without notice.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

A provisional booking will be held for 14 days, after which we require a 10% deposit of the estimated cost, to secure your reservation. The total

estimated account must be paid 2 weeks before the date of your wedding by cheque. Any additional charges must then be paid on departure.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Final numbers are to be advised two weeks prior to your wedding, after this time any non-arrival will be charged in full to cover

our preparation costs. Children in attendance can be served half portions at a 50% reduction by prior arrangement.

In the unfortunate event of your wedding reception having to be cancelled, the following charges will apply: for cancellations up to 10 weeks prior to the reception, there will be a 50% charge of the total cost of the wedding.

Should you need to cancel after this time the full estimated cost will be charged.

Music and bar license is till 11.40pm. The hotel does not accept responsibility for damage too, and for the loss of, property left in the hotel. Please note that all prices shown are inclusive of

VAT and are subject to change.
