August 29, 2015 Happy third week of Kindergarten!!! Dear Parents and Students~ Good job to all my kinder friends for being amazing during their first two weeks of school! I know I have a bunch of ROCKSTARS in my class this year! Every Monday, you will get a newsletter to inform you of what your child will be working on throughout the week in each subject area. This is so you know what is going on in the classroom and also so you can help your child at home as well! Along with academic information, the newsletter also includes important dates to remember and any other information you may need to know. The newsletter also will include a special page for the Star Student of the Week! The related arts schedule will also be on here. In your child’s folder, you will see their August calendar. Remember this is to always stay in their folder on the “Right Back to School” side. Anything on the “Left At Home” side is to be taken out of their folder and left at home to enjoy and review. Any important information or newsletters will also be on the right back to school side so that you can quickly see it. Please remember to write down your child’s reading time on their calendar and to initial next to their behavior every night. Reading times MUST equal up to an hour or more! At conferences I gave every child Star Student poster to complete. Please be sure to return this ASAP! NEWSLE TTER
