Information to Send Your Presenters Now Please confirm the speakers in your session will upload a recording of their talk between Oct. 5-12. Suggest to your speakers that they visit the INFORMS "Tips for Presenters" webpage, which can be found here. Make sure all your speakers have a Zoom account. This will be necessary for live Q&A at the end of the scheduled session. You can sign up for a free Zoom account on Zoom’s webpage . You will need to input the email address you wish to use, and hit ‘Sign up, It’s Free.’ Before the Conference Prior to Oct. 5: Session chairs will record a 1-2-minute introduction of the speakers in their session. Please use the slide provided by INFORMS attached and add your session information. Do not add extra text. We recommend using Zoom to record, but any MP4 is fine to upload. Between Oct. 5-12: Session Chairs will upload their introduction in their submission portal. This is the same site where you submitted your session information so it will look familiar. During this time, Session Chairs will also be able to visit the submission portal to view the recordings uploaded by their presenters. Please make sure all your speakers upload their recordings by Oct. 12. By Oct. 16: Session Chairs should watch all the recordings in their session by Oct. 16 to check for quality and length. 5 minutes before your session start time: Go to your session and post in the text chat box. For example:   "Welcome! To begin the session, please press 'play' at the session start time. You may ask questions or comment in this chat box throughout the session. After the presentations, use the link at the top of the page to enter the live Q&A/discussion meeting room."    

At the session start time: Play the session on your computer so you know when to move to the live meeting room link.

When the session ends: Use the chat box to let people know the live meeting room is now open by following the link at the top of the page. People may join at different times so it will be helpful for this to be in the text chat. 

Throughout the session: Session Chairs should monitor the text chat and help facilitate the Q&A/discussions within the live meeting room. 

After your session end time: The live meeting room will close 15 minutes after your session end time. Make sure to conclude the session within that timeframe. If you wish to continue the discussion, visit the networking area of the virtual meeting site, exchange contact information, or have your own Zoom link ready to move into.
