Target Audience: FE, SE, TE and BE (CE, IT and E&TC Dept.)
No of Participants: 31 teams.
Venue : Convention center , I²IT, Pune.
Topic: Entrepreneurship Challenge Competition 2019
Resource Person: Mr. Manoj Pangarkar , Mr. Pranay Upadhyay Coordinator: Prof. Sandeep Patil
Objectives:
1. To present our ideas in front of people and share it with them . 2. To make our idea happen and implementation of idea in reality . 3. To develop the skill of leadership activities , team spirit etc . 4. These kind of competitions provide us feedback and validation . 5. To make students familiar with the world of business and startups .
Outcomes:
On completion of this course students are able :
1. To follow professional etiquettes, manners and effective communication skills.2. To achieve leadership qualities, team building qualities and sportsmanship spirit.3. To understand what characterizes an attractive business opportunity and common pitfalls during the entrepreneurial process . 4. To get the exposure of industry environment.5. The competition was organised by SIC, Pune and evaluated by Mr. Manoj Pangarkar and Mr. Pranay Upadhyay, Successful young entrepreneur and Industry person. This competition was held to encourage students from our college to make their idea happen and implement them in reality and make students familiar with the world of business and startups.
Students actively participated by showing their keen interest towards ideas through brief powerpoint presentations and posters. Out of all the participant teams 6 teams were shortlisted for next round and then winning teams were declared.
Two Teams “Deep fake detector (SE IT) and Fusion (BE E&TC)” were selected . And third team prize is given on sharing basis for two groups “Technoagri and SmartFarmers”. As per the suggestion from Judges, these students can collectively form one startup. All of them are from BE (IT).
Results :
The winners of the Entrepreneurship Challenge Competition held on I2IT campus are :
First Prize - Allen Thomas (SE COMP)
Second Prize - Parth Gopal Bandrewar (Team Leader) (BE E&TC)Govind Radhakishan HogeSatyaprakash Khandu Gaikwad
Third Prize - This prize is given on sharing basis for these two groups. As per the suggestion from Judges, these students can collectively form one startup. All of them are from BE (IT).
