First Quarter Unit Plan
AP Language and Composition – Ms. Williams
Overarching Questions: What is rhetoric? How can language be used to manipulate an audience? How do the “rhetorical moves” a speaker makes connect back to the overall purpose of a piece? What are the essential elements that make us human, and what do gifted orators have to say about these topics?
