We the People first Friday: Musical tales for modERN minds FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2017 | 7 P.M. STEINMAN HALL | THE WARE CENTER FREE! Join storyteller and musician Julia Jordan Kamanda as she shares her “Musical Tales for Modern Minds,” a family- friendly event at the Ware Center. Created for young audiences, Kamanda will bring interactive music and stories from West African and Peruvian cultures to the Steinman Hall stage. Additionally, starting at 5:30 p.m., Arts Smarts Campers’ work will be featured in the Lyet Lobby to raise scholarship dollars for the annual summer camps. YU & shih + MFE SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2017 | 3 P.M. STEINMAN HALL | THE WARE CENTER Tickets: $5 Students Listen to master pianists while contributing to a worthy cause in the first event celebrating Lancaster as the “Street Piano Capital of the World.” Christopher Shih and Thomas Yu will come together November 5 to perform a dual piano concert, featuring the works of Mozart, Brahms, Dukas and Milhaud. All proceeds from this concert will benefit local non-profit, Music For Everyone.
