Technology trading under many brandsAddtech is a technology trading group that develops and sells high-tech components and systems to industrial companies and the service industry. The Group achieves annual sales of about SEK 4 billion and has approxi-mately 1,300 employees.

Addtech is based in Nordic industry, but operates internationallyThe subsidiaries find and represent market-leading manufacturers from all over the world. In addition, many of Addtech’s products are incorporated into the end products of customers who export worldwide. Addtech often continues to supply its parts to these customers when they relocate their manufacturing operations abroad.

Addtech’s many subsidiaries, customers and suppliers together form a broad and established network. Knowledge sharing is a natural part of the network and it means that our subsidiaries are well-informed about what is happening in their specifi c markets in respect of technological and market developments. Knowledge sharing rein-forces the competitive strength of our subsidiaries and enables us to develop entire market segments.

We encourage our subsidiaries to open doors for each other. Successful networking means better solutions for our customers and allows us to har-ness market opportunities more effectively. The network is constantly growing through measures such as our acquisitions of new technology trading companies that complement existing operations.

Networking is part of our corporate culture and is underpinned by established structures and processes. The basis for natural co-operation between the Group’s subsidiaries is laid through Directors’ board work in the subsidiaries, regular business unit meetings, conferences for company Managing Directors and training.

Managers at AddtechTarget group: All Managing Directors of Addtech’s subsidiaries or leaders in equivalent positions in the Group.

Our subsidiaries are part of this success and our more than 700 skilled sales engineers together possess a unique knowledge bank in the fi elds of tech-nology, application know-how, retail, logistics and – equally important – the Nordic busi-ness community and society.

This combined knowledge benefi ts everyone, because we encourage and enable people to share experience and enhance their competence. Teamed with clear goals and a robust corporate culture, knowledge has given us strength to continually develop our offering to our customers. Our suppliers also contribute valuable knowledge, particularly when given the challenge of fi nding new and better solutions for our customers.

The Addtech Business School is the basis of in-house knowledge transfer. It also serves as an important platform for spreading the corporate culture and Addtech’s business

philosophy as well as improving business skills. The overall aim of the training is to teach and motivate employees to be com-mitted and successful in the Group. We like to invite customers and suppliers to the Business School as speakers – which is a valuable way of making the training realistic.

One hundred years of experience, com-bined with continual learning and effective intra-Group knowledge transfer creates highly favourable conditions for meeting our customers’ expectations of innovation and quality.

Addtech’s size and fi nancial strength mean that the subsidiaries can develop and grow their businesses and that our smaller subsidiaries can take on large and complex projects with greater security and on a more long-term basis for customers and suppliers. Secure fi nances are always a higher priority than growth, and sales, stock levels and performance of subsidiaries are followed up regularly. We also follow up market trends on an ongoing basis. Such follow-up enables us to tackle problems at an early stage and ensure that customers and suppliers receive optimal service, even in times of unease.

Order and structure create security for all parties. Within Addtech, we have therefore drawn up a joint Group framework for issues such as terms of delivery, liability insurance and environmental policies.

Our subsidiaries are independent, but not alone. No part of the operation is dependent on a few individuals, since each business unit always contains skilled employees who can provide support if required.
