Presentation Days

This week we held our very enjoyable K-2 and 3-6 annual Presentation Days. These are always very special days and this year was no exception. Congratulations to all of the award winners especially the major prize winners.I would like to congratulate and farewell our 2016 school leaders. They have all shown excellent leadership skills throughout the year and I anticipate very bright futures for all of them. Well done Emily B, Sam S, India E, Bodhi M, Meaghan R, Jayde J, Jeremy S and Blake M.

High School Transition Day Year 6 enjoyed their High School experience at Wauchope High School on Tuesday. Thank you Mrs Gowan for coordinating.Year 3 Beach VisitYear 3 had a great day at the beach on Tuesday. Thanks Mrs Rock for organising.Stop Work MeetingThank you for your understanding with this morning’s disruption to normal routines.K-2 Christmas ConcertThis fantastic celebration is on this afternoon Thursday 8 December between 5:00pm and 6:00pm. This will be a lovely way to finish the school year. If parents allow their children to be on the equipment that is your choice and your job to supervise. I don’t recommend it.Year 6 FarewellThis is the highlight of the year for Year 6 and concludes seven years of Primary education. Tuesday 13 December is the big night. Year 5 are to arrive at 7:30pm for the Stage 3 disco. The staff are very much looking forward to this evening with a fantastic group of Year 6 students.Semester 2 Reports These will be distributed on Monday 12 December. They will be addressed to the parent and are expected to arrive home unopened and in mint condition as hours of time and effort have been put into the preparation and production of these.Pool Parties/Movie DaysI’m sure all children attending these days will have a sensational time. What a fantastic way to finish off the term. If your child is attending a pool party please ensure they have a hat, sensible clothing,

A huge thank you to Mr Jens Lindner who is responsible for producing this excellent communication between school and parents. The lay out, design and photos are fantastic.2017 Students in Years 1 to 6 will commence the 2017 School Year on Monday 30 January 2017. Kindergarten students will receive a letter in January notifying them of their Best Start Assessment/Interview time. Kindergarten students will then commence school on Monday 6 February 2017.
