PROBLEM FORMULATIONHOW THE CONTAMINATION OF THE WATER AFFECTS TO THE SOCIETY?

Virtually all types of water pollution are harmful to the health of humans and animals.

Different forms of pollutants affect the health of animals and people, in different ways ,causing harm to the society.

Water pollution affects rivers, lakes and oceans all over the world, if neglected, and it continues to pollute the consequences could be worse.

JUSTIFICATIONWhen it comes to conserving water, small adjustments can have a big impact ,is needed support and awareness of all to shorten pollution, our objectives on this project it's to make conscience about the damage it's causing water pollution.

OBJECTIVES • To make conscience about the damage it’s causing wáter pollution.• To give knoledge to people about what really happening with the water we

consume daily.• Ways to conserve water.• To conserve the wáter in better condition.

WATER Water is the major constituent of the fluids of living things, is a liquid at standard ambient temperature and pressure, but it often co-exists on Earth with its solid state, ice; and gaseous state, steam. It is vital for all known forms of life.Water covers 71% of the Earth's surface. On Earth, 96.5% of the planet's water is found in seas and oceans, 1.7% in groundwater, 1.7% in glaciers, a small fraction in other large water bodies, and 0.001% in the air as vapor, clouds and precipitation.780 million people lack access to clean wáter.More than 3.4 million people die each year from water, sanitation, and hygiene-related causes. Nearly all deaths, 99 percent, occur in the developing world.

SOME WAYS TO CONSERVE THE WATER • Don't overfill the pool; lower water levels will

reduce water loss due to splashing. • If you accidentally drop ice cubes, don't

throw them in the sink. Drop them in a house plant instead.

• Collect the water you use while rinsing fruit

and vegetables.Use it to water house plants. • When doing laundry, match the water level

to the size of the load. • Washing dark clothes in cold water saves

water and energy, and helps your clothes retain their color.

DISEASES BY DRINKING CONTAMINATED WATER

Sources of drinking water are subject to contamination and require appropriate treatment to remove disease-causing contaminants.

• DiarrhoeaDiarrhoea causes a person to lose both water and electrolytes, which leads to dehydration and, in some cases, to death. • CholeraCholera is an acute bacterial infection of the intestinal tract.
