The Regular Meeting of the Board of Education was held m the Board Room of the Administration Building, 31300 Anita Drive, Warren, Michigan. I. CALL TO ORDER BY PRESIDENT TROMBLEY The meeting was called to order by President Trombley at 7:42 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Ms. Kattula followed by the reading of the District's Mission Statement. Members Present: Members Absent: Others Present: Berdy, Jozwik, Kattula, Papasian-Broadwell, Trombley, Weckerle, White None Livernois, Bernia, Elenbaas, Irvine, Papak, and District Legal Counsel Donald DeNault from O'Reilly Rancilio P.C. II. ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA A motion was made by Mr. White, supported by Mr. Weckerle that the Board of Education accept the agenda of the Regular Board of Education Meeting of Tuesday, April 16, 2019. Yes: All No: None Motion Carried: 7-0 III. STUDENT, STAFF AND ALUMNI A WARDS AND RECOGNITIONS Dr. Livernois recognized the Warren Consolidated Schools staff for supporting our students as we celebrate their achievements at the many celebrations and banquets that will be happening in the coming weeks. The Cromie Elementary Science Olympiad Team recently medaled in five events at a district tournament last month. Students from Carter Middle School recently attended the STEM Day event at Wayne State University on March 12, 2019. Congratulations to two Warren Consolidated School of Performing Arts (WCSPA) students who were recently chosen by the New York Hamilton production producers to perform their original performance piece at an education series at the Fisher Theater. The annual Warren Consolidated Festival of the Arts show will run from April 25th - May 20 th at the Sterling Heights Senior Center. IV. PRESENTATIONS There were no presentations. V. TUESDAY, APRIL 16, 2019

The Regular Meeting of the Board of Education was held m the Board Room of the Administration Building, 31300 Anita Drive, Warren, Michigan.

I. CALL TO ORDER BY PRESIDENT TROMBLEY

The meeting was called to order by President Trombley at 7:42 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Ms. Kattula followed by the reading of the District's Mission Statement.

A motion was made by Mr. White, supported by Mr. Weckerle that the Board of Education accept the agenda of the Regular Board of Education Meeting of Tuesday, April 16, 2019.

III. STUDENT, STAFF AND ALUMNI A WARDS AND RECOGNITIONS

Dr. Livernois recognized the Warren Consolidated Schools staff for supporting our students as we celebrate their achievements at the many celebrations and banquets that will be happening in the coming weeks.

3. Approval of the hiring of the Non-Union employees as listed in Addendum No. 3.

4. Acceptance of the Resignation/Retirement notification of the Warren Consolidated Schools employees as listed in Addendum No. 4.

5. Affirmation of the reinstatement recommendation of a Beer Middle School student as listed in Addendum No. 5.

6. Affirmation of the expulsion recommendations of a Beer Middle School student, two Carter Middle School students, a Sterling Heights High School student, a Cousino High School student, and four Warren Mott High School students as listed in Addendum No. 6.

A motion was made by Mr. White, supported by Ms. Papasian-Broadwell, that the Board of Education accept the recommendation of the Superintendent and approve the items on the Consent Agenda.

VII. ACTION ITEMS

A. RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF GOVERNOR WHITMER'S BUDGET PROPOSAL

A motion was made by Ms. Papasian-BroadwelL supported by Ms. Jozwik, that the Board of Education accept the recommendation of the Superintendent to approve the resolution in support of Governor Whitmer's Budget Proposal as listed in Addendum No. 7.

B. RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING APRIL 2019 AS THE MONTH OF THE YOUNG CHILD

A motion was made by Mr. White, supported by Ms. Berdy, that the Board of Education accept the recommendation of the Superintendent and recognize April 2019 as the Month of the Young Child as listed in Addendum No. 8.

Yes: All No: None Motion Carried: 7-0

C. RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING APRIL 2019 AS SCHOOL LIBRARY MONTH

A motion was made by Mr. White. supported by Ms. Papasian-Broadwell, that the Board of Education accept the recommendation of the Superintendent and recognize April 2019 as School Library Month as listed in Addendum No. 9.

E. APPROVAL OF PURCHASE - DISTRICT BACKUP AND DISASTER RECOVERY SOLUTION

A motion was made by Mr. Weckerle, supported by Ms. Jozwik. that the Board of Education accept the recommendation of the Superintendent and approve the purchase of two Dell EMC Data Domain devices from Presidio Network Solution Group. LLC for a total not to exceed $174,868.92 as listed in Addendum No. 11.

F. RESOLUTION - RATIFICATION OF THE TENTATIVE AGREEMENT WITH WARREN ADMINISTRATORS" ASSOCIATION

A motion was made by Mr. White, supported by Ms. Jozwik. that the Board of Education accept the recommendation of the Superintendent and adopt the Resolution - Ratification of the Tentative Agreement with Warren Administrators' Association as listed in Addendum No. 12.

G. RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING APRIL 2019 AS AUTISM AWARENESS MONTH

A motion was made by Ms. Kattula, supported by Ms. Jozwik, that the Board of Education accept the recommendation of the Superintendent and recognize April 2019 as Autism Awareness Month as listed in Addendum No. 13.

H. AW ARD OF CONTRACT - BID PACKAGE 12 - FOOTBALL FIELD LIGHTING REPLACEMENT

A motion was made by Mr. White, supported by Ms. Jozwik, that the Board of Education accept the recommendation of the Superintendent and award a contract for replacement of football field lighting to various vendors with Clark Construction Company acting as the Construction Manager, with the total cost not to exceed $837,053.00 as listed in Addendum No. 14.

I. RESOLUTION - APPROVAL OF SNOWPLOW TRUCKS PURCHASE

A motion was made by Mr. White, supported by Ms. Berdy. that the Board of Education accept the recommendation of the Superintendent and approve the purchase of two (2) 2019 GMC Sierra 2500HD 4x4 pick-up trucks with snowplows for a total cost of $74,764.00 from Todd Wenzel Buick as listed in Addendum No. 15.
