Globe Valves by Yakacık

Globe Valves; operate as opening and closing procedure by pressing and depressing the plug connected to end of the plug spinon to the flow cross section. Flow direction is one way as shown on valve. Globe valve must be preferred in case of the pressuriflow opened to atmosphere since the force obtained by the spindle press the plug on to the seat helps sealing.

Sealing System

Metal to metal sealing is provided by sittingthe seat and the plug to each other...

Since leakproofing is provided bythe plug and the seat are being fixed each otheron their surfaces, the fluid should be clean.There should be solid particles situated betweenthese two surfaces. These particles may causedamages on the surfaces. That's why, filteringmust be applied.

If freezing and solidification are occuring whenthe temperature of used fluid decreases,body must be covered by thermal insulation.

Sealing from body to atmosphere isprovided by one piece bonnet gasket.(wire knitted Graphite gasket or Graphite).

Sealing from the spindle to atmosphere is

provided by the stuffing comprised of

YX-GT rings.

If any leakage appears from the stuffing, leakagemust be prevented by tightening the gland retainer.If the stufffing loses its elasticity, it must be replacedby the new one.

In case of abrasion of the leakproofing surfaces,leakproofing is again provided by the surfacesgrinding and exercising. Conducting this processby manufacturer should be preferred.
