Disciple continues ….
O ! Revered preceptor,
• My mind has vanished and all its
activities have melted away,
• by realizing the Identity of Self and
Brahman;
• I am not able to know either ‘This or
not-This’ – means no relative ideas
• Nor what or how much (immeasurable)
the boundless Bliss is !

The hail stone
• The majesty of the ocean of the Supreme Brahman, replete with the overflowing nectar-like Bliss of the Self,
• Is indeed impossible to be expressed in Speech, nor can it be conceived by the mind – nor can it be experienced because it is not an object to be experienced;
• My mind – like infinitesimally small fraction – melted like a hail stone getting merged in the ocean (the Whole)
• Now, it is satisfied with that Essence of Bliss

– In my Samaadhi state -
– Where has this world gone !
– Who removed it from my perception !
– With what does it merge !!
– It has been seen by me just now and
in no time it ceased to exist –
– Every thing is so strange !!
Amazing !!

• When the superimposed adjunct (Upaadhi)
is moving, the resulting movement of the
reflection is ascribed erroneously by fools
to the object reflected.
• For e.g. take the Sun reflected in a water pot
that is being carried on the head. In truth the
Sun is not moving but the water pot is.
• Alas! We, much the same way (foolishly)
think – ‘I am the doer’, ‘I am the enjoyer’,
‘I am killed’ etc.,
Alas! We are foolish!!

• Let this inert body fall down either in water or
on the land
• I (the Atman) is not touched by the properties
of the body such as its demise etc

• The Sky ever continues to exist, ever after the
water jar is destroyed and the reflection of the
Sky in it is shattered.
