The aim of international collaboration programmes is to
strengthen Swedish actors’ international networks for
cooperation in research and development leading to innovations
for a sustainable development.
• ”IMT - Advanced and Beyond 2008” - Joint research in the area of wireless technologies for future communications, pre-competitive phase, focus on research.
• “CFP ICE 2012 A, Cooperation-building and feasibility studies” -Sustainable urban development, Information and communications technology and Clean technology including environmental protection technology.
• “CFP ICE 2013 B” - Environmental technology and Sustainable urban development.
What have Vinnova done until todayVinnova – MOST Calls for Proposals (CFP)
• August 2017 new MoU for a three year serie of CFP in different areas
• March 2018 opened first CFP under the new MoU, planned to open next CFP March 2019
• Discussions on next year CFP 20th of June in Beijing between Vinnova and MOST
• Selected areas for next CFP are health, traffic safety and applied ICT
• Match-making and networking events between actors in both countries
Status today 2018-08-15
• Budget: SEK 20 million, estimated to fund 6–8 projects.
• Length of the projects will vary from 2–3 years.
• Who can apply? Companies and institutes or universities (2+2)

How to register for the matchmaking
• Only SME can apply for travel grants
• Grants cover travel and lodging for one person per company
• Maximum grant is SEK 25 000
• Number of travel grants are limited!
Travel grants
• That the company is an SME
• The company have the intention to apply for the call for proposal (CFP), and is active in any of the relevant areas for the CFP
• Priority for receiving travel expenses will be in accordance with:1. Companies having a project partner in China where a physical meeting can strengthen the possibility of designing a project agreement2. Companies having a potential project partner in China and a physical meeting can enable a project constellation to be formed3. Companies with international maturity but no project partner
