Mandy Rice Vice President, Global Trim Cover Engineering & Craftsmanship Mandy Rice is the Vice President of Global Trim Cover Engineering & Craftsmanship in Lear’s Seating Group. In this position she is responsible for leading global product and design development for trim covers and running Lear’s newest business initiative, Crafted by Lear. Since joining Lear in 1997, Rice has held various positions of increasing responsibility relating to new business initiatives within the company. As a Director of Interior Integration, Rice led Lear’s first total interior integration program, which received Ward’s Automotive Interior of the Year Award in 2005. In 2009, she led the launch of Lear’s Aventino® leather brand as the Director of Trim Sales, Americas. In 2012, Rice was the Vice President of Global Trim Sales where she assisted in the acquisition of Guilford Performance Textiles, which added fabric capabilities to Lear’s product portfolio. Prior to her current position, Rice took over textile and leather engineering and design to strengthen Lear’s vertical integration product portfolio paving the way for craftsmanship. Prior to joining Lear, Rice worked for Ford Motor Company as a manufacturing engineer from 1992 to 1997.

Mandy Rice is the Vice President of Global Trim Cover Engineering & Craftsmanship in Lear’s Seating Group. In this position she is responsible for leading global product and design development for trim covers and running Lear’s newest business initiative, Crafted by Lear.

Since joining Lear in 1997, Rice has held various positions of increasing responsibility relating to new business initiatives within the company. As a Director of Interior Integration, Rice led Lear’s first total interior integration program, which received Ward’s Automotive Interior of the Year Award in 2005. Rice earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University. She also earned a Master’s of Science degree in Industrial Operations from Lawrence Technological University.
