1. (a) Draw the winding diagram in developed form for a single layer lap winding for 32 slot s and4 poles . Also draw the sequence diagram to show the position of the brushes.

(b) Draw a developed concentric winding diagram of an induction motor having 24 slots, for3 phase.4 poles operation.

II. (a) Draw the sectional plan, Sectional elevation and sectional side elevation of a core of dia .22 ernhaving 3-step core construction, height of core = 48 em thickness of end plate 3 mID.
Or
(b) Draw the layout of a capacitance power substation.

III. Draw to a suitable scale a heat and sectional view of the following as per main dimensions givenbelow in centimetre scale . Winding of the field and armature need not to be shown.

I . (a) Develop simple lap winding for DC machine having 36 armature conductors and 6 poles. Alsoshow connections to equilizer ring.
Or
(b) Develop three-phase spiral or concentric winding for an AC machine having 24 slots oneconductor per slot and 4 poles.
II. (a) (i) Draw the line diagram for the outdoor type distribution substation from double polestructure to L.T .
(ii) Draw the complete layout for 220 kV substation .
Or
(b) Draw the full sec ti ona l elevation, sectional plan, sectional side view elevation of a 3<j1transformer for the given below dimensions. Show clearly the method of fixin g the core a ndyoke :
Core 3 step construction :
Core dia. == 22 em.
Height of core == 48 em .
Height of yoke == 25 em.
Centre to centre distance between the cores == 35 em .
III . Draw the following views of the DC machine commutator assembly :
(i) The front elevation to be half in section.
(ii) The end elevation half in section for the given below dimensions.
Use any suitable scale :
Diameter of com mutator == 13 em.
Length of the commutator == 11.8 em .
Diameter of the shaft == 4 em.
Segment pitch with mica == 0.6 em .
Mica thickness == 0.1 em .
Clearly indica te the dimensions.
