Timeline26 Feb: Briefing at Year 2 Meet-the-Parent Session with Option Form (Form A)

8 Mar: Submission of Form A (1st , 2nd and 3rd

choice) via Asknlearn

26 May: Release of Form B, based on Mid-Year Exam (Letter to Parent)

24 Oct : Confirmation of students’ promotional status. Release of Form Cbased on overall results of all subjects

8 Nov: Release of course allocation based on merit and student preference (Appeal Period, Form D: 8 Nov to 11 Nov, 5pm)

18 Nov: Final streaming results (after appeal process) put up on GESS portal/Asknlearn

Rationale for Form A, B, C and DForm A(26 Feb)

Meet-the-Parents Session, followed by Form A (via Asknlearn)

Objective: Communicate to students and their parents on expectations and subject combinations; and to gauge course demand and aspirations

Form B(26 May)

Release of Report Book after Mid-Year Exam and Issue of Form B

Objective: Allow the students and parents to know their academics gap so that students can work hard on the right area(s) to meet and attain the expectations of their desired course.

Form C(24 Oct)

Release of Report Book after Final Term Exam and Issue of Form C

Objective: Allow students to re-select their desired course based on their overall academics performance and school available resources.

Form D(8 Nov)

Appeal Form (Form D) after the release of course allocation on 8 Nov 2016
