REAR RAMP DOOR

Ramp control is located on the dash labeled ramp switch.

Be aware of personnel and surrounding before lowering ramp.

Ramp is hydraulically driven and comes down very fast.

PRE- OPERATION CHECKS

Tires (All).

Check tread depth, tire inflation and even wear. Check tires for cuts, gouges, cracks, or other damage.

General Vehicle Walk.

Walk around the vehicle looking for obvious leaks.

Check for any damage.

Look for anything out of the norm.

Engine Oil Level.

With engine off, pull dipstick out and wipe clean rag.

Re-insert dipstick to fully seat and pull back out.

Oil level should be between the Full and Add hash marks.

DO NOT OVERFILL.

STARTING AND DRIVING

Ensure Master power is on. Toggle switch being in the “down” position.

Air Pressure.Low pressure indicator should not sound while in operation.Air pressure should be above 70 psi.

Only press the RED trailer knob if towing a vehicle that uses air brakes.

With the brake pedal pressed down push and hold the “D” drive button.

When putting vehicle in park, press the “N” neutral button before pulling the yellow park brake knob.

The MaxxPro Plus is equipped with run flat tires that can be used when tire pressure is lower than the recommended range, at a speed no greater than 30 mph for 30 miles.

Winching Procedures

The MaxxPro Plus has a front-mounted, deployable self-recovery winch that is capable of pulling itself or an object like a door, barricade, or vehicles with same gross vehicle weight (GVW) out of a hole, mud, or other immobilized situation.

Winching Procedures

•Locate an anchor point suitable to the load.

•Rotate the clutch lever (1) to enable free-spooling of the winch drum.

•Pull out or “pay out” enough of the wire rope to reach the anchor point. When using Snatch block, pay out enough cable to reach back to truck
