• Bring together SME’s and theater resources – Process improvement– Leverage talent for regional crises– Build a support network

• Accountability / Readiness– System deployment locations– Readiness of those systems (and how to report it)

NTS Readiness Requirements / Reporting

• Equipment– Are there established maintenance standards? procedures?– If not, what we need to create (or validate):

• A step by step check sheet to validate operation• Frequency requirement

– Current Version installed (v4.1.32)

• Personnel– DMDC has online training programs – anybody using it?– Regardless need to standardize training for theater

• If DMDC training is not good we need to improve it• Frequency requirement?• # of individuals by location (equipment based)

• Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS)– Based on the above, develop reporting standards that each location would send

up CoC to input into PACOM readiness report– Validate in exercises – or create a stand alone Theater NTS exercise

PACOM NTS Issue Tracker

• 1. APIS Interface (Advanced Passenger Information System)– Required for CONUS entry (DHLS / CBP)– Need a way to standardize this for PACOM (I now have an account)

• 2. GATES Interface (Global Air Transportation Execution System)– Since Tomodachi, GATES manifest feature added– Does it work? Is it compatible? Adequate information?– GATES and APIS have had SAT interface test (DMDC)

• 3. Manifests – adequate amount of information– *** Does not have all required APIS fields– Will require an eAPIS output as well (text or uploadable) if GATES not available locally

• 4. Ability to burn to CD – I found the same issue on my ATG 630– Possible solution is to upgrade to IE8 (max for Windows XP)– Any issue with this from DMDC?

• 5. Web Application – Unable to access WORKSTATION data from non NTS terminal.

• Equipment Readiness– Ensure, on a quarterly basis, all theater NTS machines are

capable of performing PACOM established readiness checks, confirmed by publishing to the DMDC Main Server.
