Hello Blanco Family, I am so thankful to all who have given above and beyond toward our summer remodel project. We have raised over $3000 of the $4000, and I am just overwhelmed by your generosity. School starts on August 27th here at Coastal Bend and I just wanted to ask if y’all would pray that God moves in the hearts of young people this fall. We are partnering with the Corpus Christi, San Antonio, and Kingsville BSM's to have a fall retreat at the end of September focusing on the restorative power of the Gospel in our lives. So often we neglect the brokenness and hurt that the Lord has healed us from and the next genera-tion seems to be experiencing it in an even worse way. Anxiety and Depression are crippling our students each day and I have seen the effects of what Christ can do in healing those ailments both in my own life and the lives of students at the BSM. We desperately need your prayer for God to open new doors for us as a ministry to be able to reach those students who are hiding in the shad-ows, believing no one cares about them, believing that they aren’t worthy of anyone, and ultimately taking their own lives.
