V2.2
Catalyst for Digital Disruption(Dec 8-11 San Jose)
Preparing NFV for Primetime•builds off of Cloud NFV 1.0, which showcased a dynamic, data-driven Management and Operations Platform, using networkstate to semantically drive orchestration. This latest iteration will show how a platform based on a rich information fabricsupports policy-based management. .
Closing the Loop: Scaling, Healing, and Optimizing a Virtualized Network•demonstrates how to increase operational efficiency and reduce operating cost by automating optimization processes. Networkand service inputs will be used to demonstrate closed loop functionality to heal and optimize a converged network running onboth traditional and virtualized infrastructure. Several network and service centric use cases handling NFV orchestration, automated core and RAN optimization will be demonstrated, leveraging TM Forum’s Performance Management interface, aswell as ETSI NFV ISG proposed architecture.
Maximizing Profitability with NFV Orchestration•To fully harness the benefits of NFV, a more comprehensive kind of “intelligent, dynamic” orchestration is needed – one thatconsiders all aspects of a virtualized function such as the fluctuating costs of running them, and quality of service. This catalystproject illustrates how to make the orchestration of virtualized network functions business-driven by harnessing the power ofanalytics and dynamically defined policies.
Lifecycle Management for Multi-Cloud Networks•advances lifecycle management for multi-cloud systems connected by virtual networks and virtualized network functions. Thearchitecture encompasses holistically managing SLAs involving VNFs and MPLS WAN gateways. This management stackaddresses the major aspects of dynamically and comprehensively interconnecting real world private and public clouds
