Week in reviewThis week we have been learning all about what life was like long ago. We have read lots of books and discussed the Native Americans and Pilgrims. It was interesting to find the similarities and differences between what life is like for us compared to what life was like during the first Thanksgiving. We read a story about the pilgrims’ journey on the Mayflower and made our own map of the journey. We read some fun Thanksgiving books – a favorite being “Run, Turkey, Run”. We made a Thanksgiving turkey and wrote about what we are thankful for! Next week we are looking forward to a presentation from the Boonshoft Museum on Native Americans and dressing like Native Americans and Pilgrims.
