uswalsteds has gained worldwide recognition for a unique quality of craftsmanship. we build, re-novate, rebuild, and maintain all kinds of yachts based on solid traditions and exceptional designs. additionally, we are service yard for Grand banks yachts and dbc marine.

walsteds is situated on the small island of thurø located in the archipelago south of fyn in the western baltic. from copenhagen airport it is a 2 hour drive to the yard.

since 1949, more than 200 boats have been built and launched from our yard.

usInitially, walsteds built wooden boats but today we also fabricate hulls with both cold-molded and strip planking systems. Grp/composite and aluminium are also common materials for hull constructions that are easy to maintain.

regardless of the building method used, we will never compromise on quality. over the course of the last twenty years, walsteds has carried out extensive rebuilding of many classic and modern boats from all over the world.

usIt goes without saying that walsteds, as a sup-plement to our permanent staff of boat build-ers, joiners, riggers, painter, and electrician, also have a comprehensive engineering department for our motor, tank and piping systems. this includes a blacksmith for fabrication of our much admired custom designed metal and steel fittings created in our own workshop.we also have a close collaboration with sub-contractors, who have been working for us for many years. they know of, and can live up to, our strict quality demands.

ruВажно отметить, что на верфи кроме штатных строителей, плотников, маляров и электриков, также работает универсальный инженерный отдел по работе с моторами, топливными системами и системами труб. В этом отделе также работает кузнец, который в нашей мастерской выковывает дизайнерские металлические и стальные изделия, которые так нравятся нашим клиентам. У нас также есть долгий и плодотворный опыт работы с подрядчиками, которые отвечают нашим высоким требованиям качества.
