The Youth and Family Services division moved to their new home on Dewey Street.

The 26th annual Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids’ Sake raised $45,000 to support youth mentoring in our county.

Our Head Start and Infant and Toddler programs attained accreditation from NAEYC and were deemed “5 Star” programs in Vermont.

The creation of a new mental health Access program resulted in a dramatic reduction of waiting times for outpatient and substance abuse services.

UCS’s partnership with Bennington County’s Blueprint for Health program expanded to 10 primary cares providing assessment and short-term treatment for substance abuse and mental health services.

Go the Distance, our 5K race in Bennington, raised funds to support CRT client peer services.

The IPLAN program, serving individuals involved with the Corrections Department, won funding to add an Intensive Outreach substance abuse component.

The Developmental Services division offered clients a wealth of wellness activities in the community.

UCS developed a mobile crisis outreach team with a goal of reducing unnecessary ER visits and hospitalizations. Our new Police Liaison worker helped to promote collaboration and better communication with law enforcement.
