THE RECORDERS

True knowledge exists in knowing that you know

nothing!

We are told that Allah knows full well what is in our hearts, and that this knowledge is also for Allah

alone.

Its Allah’s mercy,A Small Number of Creation, is endowed with Small Bit of his

TREMENDOUS knowledge & insight

'Verily, Allah, with Him (Alone) is the knowledge of the Hour, He sends down the rain, and knows that which is in the wombs. No person knows what he will

earn tomorrow, and no person knows in what land he will die .

Verily, Allah is All-Knower, All-Aware (of things).

(Quran: 31:34)

HOW PRIVATE OUR THOUGHTS REALLY ARE?

#1Knowledge of that which is even in our hearts is with Allah

Allah says:

'And indeed We have created man, and We know what his own self whispers to

him. And We are nearer to him that his jugular vein.'

(Quran: 50:16)

#2 There is a scribe whose job is to record

everything leaving no word or movement unrecorded.

(Remember) that the two receivers (recording angels) receive (each human being), one sitting on the right and one of

the left (to note his or her actions).

ق�يب� ر� ل�د�ي�ه� إ�ال و�ل# ق� �م�ن ظ) ي�ل�ف� ا م�(18ع�ت�يد�)

Not a word does he (or she) utter but there is a watcher by him ready (to record

it).’ Quran: (50:17-18)

Allah says:

ظ�ين ـف� ل�ح� �ع�ل�ي�ك)م إ�ن6 و�But verily, over you (are appointed

angels) to watch you

ت�ب�ين� كـ� Aاما ك�ر�Kiraman (honorable) writing down (your

deeds)

ع�ل)ون� �ت�ف ا م� ي�ع�ل�م)ون�They know all that you do.

Quran

(82:10-12)

What a person does or says has been publicized-at the very

least to those constantly around him/her- i.e. the recording angels.

Allah has decreed for the recording angels to have the insight

and ability to know what is in the deepest depth of our hearts.

OUR ABILITIES AND ITS IMPACT

"Good words are worth much, and cost little."

Verily, a man might utter a word that Pleases Allah the Exalted,

unaware of how highly it will be regarded, and on its account Allah

the Exalted and Most Honored decrees His pleasure of him until

the Day he meets Him..

Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) (Imam Ahmed)

“A man might indeed utter a word that Angers Allah the Exalted,

Unaware Of how dreadful it will be and on its account Allah the

Exalted decrees for him his anger until the day he meets him”

Prophet Muhammad(At-Tirmidhi, An-Nasa’i and Ibn Majah )

“Watch your thoughts, for they become words.Watch your words, for they become actions.Watch your actions, for they become habits.

Watch your habits, for they become character.Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.”

Allah says to the “Deeds-Recording Angels”:

We are not only…

I pray that we can all find the inspiration to perform more good deeds, and we may also be blessed by Allah’s mercy and guidance to clear and purify our

intentions as well.May our scales of deeds weigh heavy

towards the good!
