Origin of the Etruscans

Between 900 and 500 BCE

Called themselves the Rasenna, the Greeks called them Tyrrhenioi; theRomans called them the Etruscans.

Came from eastern Mediterranean, possibly Lydia in Asia Minor.

Their land was called Etruria.
