T.W.I.Y. is a real life strategy game where the users are forced to interact and make decisions. Your decisions affect your family, whether the family consists of just you as the boss and your created troops or, the family consists of you as the boss, your created troops along with your friends & family members who join you to help fund your crusade to be the top family in the game. With its sleek & user-friendly interface design, the T.W.I.Y. App has a centralized Dashboard that is the starting point to gain access to your entire game experience. There are a number of titled buttons in the game guiding the users to their destination.

Dashboard

The Dashboard is where the user lands once the user logs in to his/her account. From the dashboard every asset of the game can be reached by pressing the desired location, opening a new area of the game. Descriptions of game areas follow:

The central navigation page that guides the users to their destination.

FAMILY BUSINESS All Family conversations are shared on this page. Only members of a particular family can see and post here. It is a private chat used for strategies and requests.

Note: If another family has placed a spy in your family, the other family will receive scattered bits of conversation from your Family Business chat. So it would be wise be carful in conversation unless you are sure it is safe to speak freely. For further information on spies, see the rules section in the game.

My Profile Displays your username & email. Here you can change your password if you wish. This page also allows you to delete your account.

MY FAMILY This page displays your family’s battle statistics. It also displays ‘your’ individual worth if you are not the boss of the family. If you are the boss, you can click the button to see who has requested to join your family.

ALERTS/MESSAGES All game alerts sent directly to the user are found here.

BATTLE HISTORY This page displays the history of battles in the game. It allows the user to see what families have won and lost games, recently and in the past.

Hint: As strategy, a clever boss could take this information and possibly determine just how strong or how weak some families are. are.

TOP 10 FAMILIES This page displays the Top Ten (ranked) Families in the game. These are the families to beat in order to reach the status of saying “The World Is Yours!”.

ALL FAMILIES This page shows all the families in the game and lists them in alphabetical order, not by rank.

DECLARE WAR Declaring war takes you to an entirely new atmosphere. It's a little cleaner giving the boss a little less clutter to think as he or she assigns troops, picks a family to battle and deploys spies etc… There are nine (9) links that are available to the Boss in the War Room. See rules of the game for details.

TWIY CASH (button) Just like the Dashboard, this is another centralized zone with its own set of buttons to help the user earn “TWIY Cash” to remain a competitive opponent in the game.

TWIY Cash Board

The TWIY Cash Board is where the user can decide how he/she would like to build funds for the family. Descriptions of TWIY Cash Board areas follow:

BUY POINTS To purchase points to be transferred into “TWIY Cash”, simply select the amount you would like to purchase and press submit. Your “TWIY Cash” will be added to your funds.

*FREE* POINTS Simply view an ad or watch a short video for a 1000 points per ad ($1000 in TWIY Cash). That’s it!

DICE Play dice/Shoot craps to bet and earn TWIY Cash. Just like any other bet, if you win then you win the cash, which is then deposited into your account. If you lose, the amount you lose is deducted from your account.

BLACKJACK Play Blackjack to bet and earn TWIY Cash. Just like any other bet, if you win then you win the cash, which is then deposited into your account. If you lose, the amount you lose is deducted from your account.

SHARE 2 EARN CASH Earn 1000 points ($1000 TWIY Cash) by sharing a post about the game to your Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn page. And yes, you can share to all three to get 3000 points total ($3000 TWIY Cash). Each post is worth its own 1000 points. Cool Huh!

INVITE FRIENDS Invite your friends to join and help you earn more cash to get your family ranked #1, or invite your friends to become part of your competition and earn bragging rights by obtaining “The World Is Yours!” status.

T.W.I.Y. CASH What is it?

Used in the game to purchase Troops and Assets, TWIY Cash can be earned several different ways.

1. When the game begins, the Boss of the family is given start-up funds (TWIY Cash) in the amount of $1,000,000.00.

2. When the game begins all other members are given start-up funds (TWIY Cash) in the amount of $100,000.00.

3. To earn more “TWIY Cash”, all players have the opportunity to wager against their “TWIY Cash” in the games provided on the TWIY Cash board.

4. Members earning “TWIY Cash” that exceeds the initial $100,000.00 will have the exceeded amount deposited into the family’s TWIY Bank Account at the end of each day. The member will then start fresh with the initial $100,000.00 after the deposit has been made.

5. If the member does not earn any “TWIY Cash” exceeding $100,000.00 or the members cash is less than $100,000.00, nothing will be deposited into the family’s TWIY Bank Account and that member will continue with whatever his or her current funds are. There will be no reset of funds as mentioned before due to the members “TWIY Cash” not exceeding $100,000.00.

6. Depositing Members and the Boss of the family will be notified of the amount and time the deposit was made.

7. The family’s TWIY Bank Account will be updated instantly to show the new balance.

8. The Boss and/or family members can also purchase points which are turned into “TWIY Cash” by selecting the “Buy Points” button. You will be taken to a page where further instructions will be given.

DROP DOWN MENU This menu is self-explanatory, with the exception of the preferences tab. Preferences discussed next.

PREFERENCES Here you can toggle the intro music & sounds on/off. When checked (by default) the entire intro screen and music will play until you stop it or it ends and progresses on its own. If unchecked the intro will only play for 5 seconds and then move on.

In conclusion, T.W.I.Y. is a fun and competitive game that keeps its users thinking and strategizing. Knowing that another family could declare war on your family at any moment is what drives our members to keep their troops stocked up and keep loads of TWIY Cash in their family’s account. Once a family declares war, there is no declining the battle request. This is where it gets interesting. Good Luck! Remember, even though the players are real, it is just a game.
