Propeller TechnologyTUSA’s advanced split fins employ Propeller-FinTM Technology, which delivers ultra-high performance with a low amplitude rapid flutter kick. As the fin moves through the water its two wing-shaped surfaces create lift and forward propulsion like a propeller. Any water traveling over the top of the blade is funneled into and out of the split between the blades. Efficiency is increased while drag and effort is reduced.

Angled Blade Design (A.B.D.)TUSA’s Angled Blade Design is employed on the SF-15, SF-8 and SF-6 fins. A standard flat fin inhibits propulsion solely by fault of design. An angle between the heel of the foot and the calf of the leg remains when the leg is extended to kick. This angle causes 10% of the propulsion to be lost. The Angled Blade Design accommodates for this anatomical characteristic and ensures maximum efficiency throughout the kicking cycle.

3-D Hybrid Cubic Air CellThe 3-D Hybrid Cubic Air Cell combines the features of a wrap-around style BCJ and a back-inflation BCJ into a unique streamlined hybrid design. The air cell offers increased lift capacity over standard back-inflation jackets and a more stream-lined, comfortable fit underwater and on the surface.

3-D Air CellThe 3-D Cubic Air Cell allows for greater internal volume (lift) in a more compact and streamlined design. Dimpled Skirt: Key areas around the forehead and cheek bones have been designed with dimples which combine to increase the skirt’s softness, flexibility and skin surface contact. This also greatly reduces leakage and enhances comfort.

Varied Silicone Thickness: A regulator or snorkel mouthpiece, when in use, can cause areas of the mouth and nose section to distort causing leakage and discomfort. Varied thicknesses of silicone in these key areas reduce leakage and provide for a better fit.

Stability Ridges: As water pressure increases a mask will compress inwards toward the face often causing further leakage. Areas under the cheek bones have been reinforced with stability ridges to minimize this compression maintaining ideal skin surface contact.

Freedom Dry enhances comfort and fit by utilizing a revolutionary low friction skirt surface.

The skirt fitting line (shown in red) features a low friction surface that delivers a superior seal and increases the facial area contact patch while significantly reducing excess skin tension. The result is a soft and supple feeling mask with a dramatically improved seal.

For the sake of the highest safety, we at TUSA plan and develop our

products based on the ISO 9001 standards. We subject all our

products to repeated stringent testing before sending them out into

the market. For example, a major theme for regulators is "to always

provide stable, natural breathing in the water, regardless of the water

depth or the amount of pressure left in the tank". At TUSA, as we

develop new products, we repeat the inhalation and exhalation

resistance tests over and over with the ANSTI Regulator Performance

System in the search for ideal breathing.

We subject all the regulators we have put

together to this testing before we ship

them. We test inhalation and exhalation

resistance, test on the intermediate

pressure inspector machine and inspect

to make sure that the intermediate

pressure value is as set. Everyday we are

working hard to send products out into

the market that our customers can rely

on at all times. Naturally, this attitude

applies not only to regulators, but to

BCJs, gauges, and all our other products

as well. Into all our masks, snorkels,

fins, and all our equipment, we biuld in
