Tonight - Its Oscar Night! Well be playing some movie-themedgames and possibly have a costume/look-alike contest during ourevening program in the Commons!

March 10th- House Party, just because! Werehaving a house party over at the Stavlunds duringour evening program from 5-6:30. Come on overand hang out.

March 17th - The Teen Choir trip is 3/14-17 and both Nick and Katyare going as chaperones so there will be no Sunday morning orevening program.

Open Enrollment for 2013-14 School YearChaparral Christian Preschool and Kindergarten is currently

enrolling for the upcoming school year.

Join us for an Art Walk displaying individual students' art andclass project art. There will be a silent auction to purchasethe student art work. Come prepared to be amazed at our

Small appetizers will be served.

Baby Dedication, March 17th!Baby Dedication is a time for parents to dedicate their

children to be raised in a Christian household. This is asweet time in our service for all involved. Please letStacy know if your family would like to participate!

Family Picnic In The Park!!

We are shaking it up this year with a New Eventfor our families in lieu ofour Palm parade. Its aFAMILY picnic and egg hunt at El Dorado Park on

Sunday, March 24th! Bring a meat or main dish for your family and a side and/or a dessert to share. There will be picnic tables but feel free to bring a

blanket or chairs.Bring a bike to travel on the bike trail...bread to feed

theducks. We will have acraftfor kids, fieldgames, and, of course, the EGG HUNT on picnic

island! There is also sand volleyballfor the adultsand teens. Come any time after 11:00. Lunch will be

at 12:45. Egg hunt will begin around 1:30.Invite friends!

One of the highest rated statements on our recent survey

was to reach out to children and their families. Our Childrens MinistryTeam and teachers are doing just that. Team members Traci Jones,

Melissa Armistead, Emily Eaves, Aimee Short, Nicole Moran, and Stacy

Shirvinski are busy planning yearly activities for the children and the

teachers help our children grow in the word and love of God. Our children

learn to serve God by participating in mission projects, singing for the

congregation, serving as greeters and much

more. Chaparral children are our future and

they are being taught by wonderful servants of

God. If you personally know a teacher in our

program or you discover someone who is, give

Misrable?Victor Hugos Les Misrables has remained an important and moving story
