Tree Celebration Program

Make a lasting,

living gift to our

community!

Page 2: Tree Celebration Program - Brandongisapp.brandon.ca/webmaps/assets/brochures/TreeProgramBrochure.pdfA tree may be sponsored for a donation of just $250 per tree. General Information

“Society grows great when people plant trees

under whose shade they shall never sit."

Greek proverb

All personal donations are

tax deductible.

Receipts will be issued by the

City of Brandon.

Trees can be sponsored for a variety of

reasons including celebrating:

• a birth

• graduation or wedding

• in recognition of a deserving

individual

• in memory of a loved one

(pets included!)

• as a corporate sponsorship

• to offset a carbon footprint

Donate a Tree

A tree may be sponsored for a

donation of just $250 per tree.

General Information

Your donation covers the cost of the

tree, planting, watering, and

maintenance by City staff for a period

of two years. After this time, care of

trees is handed over to Mother Nature.

Donors will be invited to attend a small

planting event for their tree(s) where

they will receive a commemorative

certificate and have their name

added to a digital plaque on the City

website.

Tree species, planting location, and

planting date are determined by Parks

& Recreation Services staff.
