Michelle Hansen UW-Extension Washington County Program Assistant, maintained and set up our traveling display at Washington County Fair Park and all the libraries.

The UW-Extension flag outside the Herbert Tennis Government Center on October 11th, where our Centennial Open House was held before the October County Board Meeting

UW-Extension Staff and volunteers from Washington County Master Gardeners, Washington County Association for Home and Community Education (HCE) and Washington County 4-H clubs and projects, engaged our guests and County Board Members, discussing programming and answering questions.

Agriculture Educator-Steph PlasterSteph’s display included information about Farm Management, Livestock and Dairy Education. Youth Livestock and Tractor Safety Education and the Washington County Master Gardeners Volunteer Association

Community Development Educator-Paul RobackPaul’s display included information about Non-Profits and the Economy, His Educational Priorities and Real Colors® Personality Assessment

Family Living Educator-Carol BralichCarol’s display had information about “what is your credit report”, “2/2, 6/6, 10/10” Checking your credit report program and “Why should I check my credit report?”

FoodWIse Nutrition Education Coordinator-Renee VertinRenee’s display showed numerous notes from various program clients throughout Washington County, along with information about the FoodWIse program.

4-H Youth Developmentyouth volunteersSeveral 4-H youth volunteers displayed information about the 4-H Youth Development programs and projects in Washington County

Tip week at The Hub!UW-Extension was also the recipient of “Tip Week” at the Hub-Socially good brews during the week of October 9th. Funds received will be used for upcoming program needs.

Washington County Board Resolution Washington County recognized UW-Extension’s 100 years of service to the citizens of Washington County

On hand to receive the County Board resolution commemorating our 100 years in Washington County were: Left to Right-Paul Roback, Renee Vertin, Cindy Sarkady Area Extension Director-Area 15, Carol Bralich and presenting was County Board Chair Don Kriefall
