__________________________________________________________________ This free local monthly guide to live (traditional and original) acoustic roots music is assembled by Larry Bruner and Wanda Finley, with various venue schedules collected by guiitarist Joe Rollin Porter; Lake County and beyond from Ed Ollick; dance details by Heidi Nemeth; & a hearty much obliged to Guy Marentette. THANKS EVERYONE! __________________________________________________________________

The Kent 'Round Town Music Festival traces its beginnings to the 1966 Kent State Folk Festival, exactly fifty years ago. The ‘round town 2016, Friday, September 16th, is free at some 34 Kent businesses, pretty much all within walking distance of each other, many featuring multiple performances of live music, all of it interesting, and almost all of it "acoustic roots" based. A complete schedule can be found here. It is produced by the Crooked River Arts Council in conjunction with Main Street Kent with WKSU promotional support. It’s generously sponsored by Wayside Furniture and 14 other companies deserving of our support.
