Vertically Integrated Projects Program

Collaborative work with the robotics section of the I-Natural team to design a small robot to serve as an avatar for a child with motor disabilities. Basic experience with Arduino prototyping platform hardware and software.

Lab experience in designing, building, and analyzing linear circuits. Analysis of first order circuits and frequency

response. Design and testing of first and second order high-pass, low-pass, band pass, and all pass filters. Analysis of various op amp configurations, full and half wave rectifiers.

Electroacoustic engineering applications Analysis of noise spectrums, moving-coil loudspeaker design, audio amplifier circuits, conversion of electrical to

mechanical and mechanical to acoustic systems.

Digital Design and Digital Signal Processing

Signal analysis with Fourier transforms and Z-transforms. Manipulation of sinusoids and images. Aliasing

identification in sinusoidal waves and images. Sound and music synthesis. FIR filtering of digital images.

Electric Energy Systems

Lab experience with buck converters, generators, transformers, and AC circuits.

Electronics Packaging Substrate Fabrication Lab experience with interconnect and substrate design, lithography, fine line and microvia copper metallization,

multilayer build up, inspection and testing.

Senior Design Project

Aerial drone featuring tracking, path planning, and facial recognition. Utilizes ROS (Robot Operating System)

on Linux Ubuntu with Open CV.

LEADERSHIP_

National Pan-Hellenic Council (President) Dec 2013 – Dec 2014

Oversee all council activities and events. Responsible for running all council and

for their respective tasks. Approve all requisitions for expenditures of budgeted funds
