We are all living through history rightnow!

In the future children will learn abou this

period of time in their history class, solet's make a time capsule to look back on

in the future!

What you will need:- A box

- Paper and pens- Scissors, paint and glue

- A camera, computer and printer(optional)

Write a letter to your future self.

Include:

If it is safe to go out, get yourslef anewspaper. (If you are unable to go out

you can get the news online)

Cut out or print the articles that youthink will be important in the future.

Step 2

Draw a picture of you and your family. (Make sure to include any of your pets)Colour and decorate as best you can!

Step 3

Take some pictures of what you aredoing today, how your bedroom looks,

your pets etc, and print them out. (if youwant you can make a scrap book of them)

Step 4

Decorate your box. You could wrap it inwrapping paper, stick stickers to it, paintit or colour it. Be as creative as you like!

(Write the date on it somewhere)

Once you have done that, fill it with allof the things you have created in the

previous steps.

Then put your completed time capsuleaway somewhere safe. Try to put it

somewhere where you can forget aboutit for years to come. (the attic or in the

back of a wardrobe are always goodoptions or you could even bury it in the

garden and dig it up with yourgrandchildren!)
