Dr Fiona Lander is a medical doctor and lawyer, and an Associate in McKinsey and Company’s healthcare practice. Previously, Fiona worked with the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, completing missions in Guinea-Bissau, Syria, Ghana, Guatemala and Australia.

Fiona also worked as a doctor at Austin Health in Victoria, and Royal Perth Hospital in Western Australia, in addition to practising law.

She completed her Master of Public Health at Harvard University in 2015, and graduated from Monash University’s MBBS/LLB program in 2009.

Sophie Scott is on a mission to educate and empower people to focus on their health and happiness. She is the ABC’s National Medical Reporter of news and current affairs in medicine and health on ABC news, radio, 730 and ABC online.

Sophie is an award-winning journalist; her accolades include a Eureka Award for medical reporting and a Kennedy Award for excellence in consumer reporting. Her stories on patient safety have led to changes in the regulation of cosmetic surgery in Australia and increased government support and resources for patients with eating disorders.

Sophie has been an MC, host and facilitator for organisations including the George Institute for International Health, the University of Sydney, Research Australia, the Mayo Clinic Conference on Social Media and the Lung Foundation.

Sophie is a board member of AMA NSW Charitable Foundation, an ambassador for Bowel Cancer Australia and the author of two books, Live a Longer Life and Roadtesting Happiness. Dr Linny Kimly Phuong is a Paediatric Infectious Diseases Fellow and Deputy Chief Medical Officer (Wellbeing) at The Royal Children’s Hospital. She is currently completing advanced physician training in both general paediatrics and infectious diseases. Not bothered by additional study, she has also completed a Diploma of Child Health (University of Sydney) and is currently completing a Master of Public Health by coursework at Melbourne University. Linny is the Founder and Chair of The Water Well Project, a not-for-profit organisation which provides health education to refugees and asylum seekers in Victoria and New South Wales. The organisation has delivered over 400 sessions throughout Melbourne, Geelong and Sydney. In addition to her specialty areas, Linny has a genuine interest in public health and medical education.
