Children from Christ Church enjoy the new Bishop’s Ranch swimming pool. Parishioner Nancy Wilson was the

generous benefactor of the “beach entry” to the pool! Many thanks to Nancy and all who have contributed!

A Good Time Had by All at Bishop’s Ranch

73 adults and kids of all ages from Christ Church, Carillon Preschool, and the community enjoyed a wonderful Father’s Day weekend at the Bishop’s Ranch in Healdsburg, California. The new pool with beach entry and shade structure was open and loved by all! Kids took part in crafts, hikes, cooking classes, pick up baseball games, and performing in a play based on the life of St. Francis, led by our leaders Fr. Mitch, Fr. Joseph, Kay, Matthew, and Andi. Adults enjoyed relaxing massages and a wine tasting with Topel Winery. The weather was perfect, and we concluded with a joyful intergenerational worship service in the Chapel! Save the Dates for the 2014 retreat NOW: June 13-15.

We have achieved 90% of our 2013 pledge income goal, but need to close the gap in order to achieve a balanced budget this year. Your generosity helps to enable all the amazing ways our Church carries out God’s work in the world, including our small but talented staff who provide pastoral care, inspiring liturgy and music, adult and children’s education, and a wonderful place of prayer and worship.
