The Ashes Cricket Series is the world’s greatest test match contest and will take place in Australia in late 2017 and early 2018.

Not only will the 2017-18 Ashes Series be the pinnacle for the players, it’s the ultimate experience for the fans who make the pilgrimage every four years to support their team in the world’s greatest cricket rivalry.

GUARANTEED OFFICIAL MATCH TICKETS Glory Days are an Official Licensed Travel Operator for the event and have secured guaranteed Official tickets for all the matches within the series.

As per every Ashes there is hardly ever a spare seat at any venue so it is vitally important that as you are travelling so far and making such a commitment you know you have guaranteed and official tickets.

A COMPREHENSIVE RANGE OF QUALITY CITY CENTRE HOTELS The hotels in the program in all the cities have been individually inspected by Glory Days staff. A summary of these hotels can be provided on request and will be constantly updated on the website.

FUNCTIONS IN ALL CITIES As an Official Licensed Travel Operator, we have access to all the functions throughout the tournament, some may be included in the package and others can be additional extras. We will keep you updated.

Each city in Australia is unique, and full of interesting things to do. The Ashes is also staged over the Summer months, which means plenty of warm, sunny days in which to enjoy the matches! We have collated a general climate guide for you below.

MELBOURNE The capital city of Victoria, and the second largest in Australia.

Melbourne sits beside the River Yarra, about 5 km from Port Philip Bay. Renowned for its sense of culture, creativity and style, the city is home to many glamorous festivals, events and shopping precincts, and the locals have a lively passion for sport, fine dining and boutique drinking spots.

2017-18 ASHES SERIES TEST MATCH DATESBRISBANE: 23RD - 27TH NOVEMBER 2017ADELAIDE: 2ND – 6TH DECEMBER 2017PERTH: 14TH - 18TH DECEMBER 2017 MELBOURNE: 26TH - 30TH DECEMBER 2017SYDNEY: 4TH – 8TH JANUARY 2018




21st December / Day 1: Fly UK to Melbourne.

22nd December / Day 2: Arrive Melbourne and transfer yourself to your hotel of choice for a 9-night stay.

23rd- 24th December / Day 3-4: Leisure time in Melbourne with optional additional tours and excursions available.

25th December / Day 5: Christmas Day Lunch (we can recommend) or possible BBQ St Kilda.

26th–30th December / Days 6-10: Ashes Test 4 – MCG, Melbourne, Gold Seats. No Match Transfers as lovely walk along the Yarra River.

31st December / Day 11: Fly Melbourne to Sydney then transfer yourself to your hotel of choice for a 10-night stay – New Year’s Eve Function or Cruise options available.

1st – 3rd January / Day 12-14: Leisure time in Sydney with optional additional tours and excursions are available.

4th – 8th January / Days 15-19: Ashes Test 5 – SCG, Sydney, Ticket level as required. No Match Transfers required as lovely walk or public transport available.

9th – January / Day 20: Leisure time in Sydney, optional additional tours and excursions available. Farewell Dinner.

10th January / Day 21: Fly Sydney to the UK.

11th January / Day 22: Arrive in UK. Tour complete.

This option can be shortened but it provides good flight options and time to overcome travel issues prior to Christmas.

These are an excellent level with the huge bowl of a stadium – superb views.

Again an excellent level with great views of the ground but also the city.

INDEPENDENT MODULES We are offering Individual modules to all Tests in the 2017-18 Ashes Series. These can be at various levels to suit all budgets, from standard hotels to first class properties and entry level tickets to hospitality entry.

We are happy to look at your requirements and produce a package that is well suited to what you are looking for. We can incorporate flights, a great choice of hotels, plus all ticket categories available.

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS Alongside quality accommodation and Official Match tickets, we can offer many other additions to help make sure this is your trip of a lifetime.

Additional Nights The minimum duration is 6 nights, although there is no limit to the total number of nights you can stay for, please just ask!

Flights We work with all major scheduled airlines and will be delighted to look at flight options for your trip if required. We can offer International and domestic flights.

We can take the booking, answer any questions, work out payment plans if required and process payments.

Email [email protected] with further details of what you are interested in and we will be in touch the following working day.

BOOKING & PAYMENTS Upon receipt of your booking, Glory Days will forward you a written confirmation of all arrangements (subject to availability) together with an invoice for the payments outlined below. Should payments not be received by the nominated date, reservations will be automatically cancelled without notice.

PAYMENT DATE/AMOUNT DUE To confirm the booking we require a minimum 25% initial deposit per person, with the final balance due by 1 August 2017.

If you have bespoke requirements (different flights etc.) the amount of deposit may change but we will outline at the time of booking.

We can work out payment plans once the initial deposit has been paid but please call to discuss.

The cancellation and refund policy will follow the payment schedule above – for clarification any cancellation after 1 August 2017 will be fully non-refundable.

METHODS OF PAYMENT All payments must be made in UK Sterling; payment in any other currency will not be accepted. To avoid any fees BACS payments are the most cost effective payment method.
