1981 – J. Tyler Mining recommends further drilling to the south of the Dog Pond pyrophyllite deposit

1982 – Newfoundland minerals sink 53 m diamond drill hole in the Dog Pond area, very little findings of

pyrophyllite, encountering the rhyolite / sediment transition zone and 3.8 m of overburden; 63 m diamond drill

hole sunk 300 m south of the Dog Pond deposit showing broken & lost core with some low grade pyrophyllite.

5. REGIONAL AND LOCAL GEOLOGY

The property lies within the Avalon Zone of the Newfoundland Appalachians. It is underlain by felsic and mafic volcanic rocks of the late Precambrian Harbour Main group. These are locally overlain by clastic sedimentary rocks of the Conception group and are intruded by the Holyrood Intrusive suite to the west and north. The latter is a composite granite-monzonite-diorite intrusion (O'Brien, 1998). For a more detailed map see Figure 3.

6. EXPLORATION PROGRAM (See Figure 4.)

During the 2013 exploration program the main activities were prospecting and collecting then panning a heavy media concentrate. In late April the a trek was made on an old skidder trail from the Pastureland Road to the pole line, then to the cut over area with two old log cabins and across a small marshy & wooded valley was followed, the linear valley is assumed to be a fault striking north east toward the Dog Pond pyrophyllite deposit.

In early 2013 the skidder trail to Jake's Gully had been upgraded by a company applying for Crown Land for an industrial development, this allowed access by truck to the area where the five 20 L buckets of till had been collected and screened to less then 1 cm. The soil was collected from the rocky blue / gray poorly sorted C horizon; the rocks being roughly ¾ blue mafic to intermediate volcanic mixed with similar colour meta-sediments and the remaining ¼ of the rocks were a mix of felsic and granite, all the rock had angular to sub-angular shape. The five 20 L buckets of soil were passed through a sluice, with 1 L of concentrate was collected and further panned, from this concentrate a sample of approximately 30 ml of black sand was collected; this sample did not appear to contain any visible gold or any other notable metallic minerals other than the magnetite.

A third day in May was spent attempting to pan in the small brook between Hennessy's Pond and Kelligrews Trout Pond to the south, access was gained through a logging road. While there appears to be a fault contact area between the granites to the west and the mafic/meta-sediments to the east, the 100 m of river bed had little to no till, but rather was littered with large angular boulders resting on bedrock outcrop, making panning not possible in the river bed.

7 RECOMMENDATIONS & CONCLUSIONS

With the known alteration belt including significant pyrophyllite mineralization, it is possible an adjacent zone containing precious or base metals occurs. Further exploration is required to identify any possible mineral zones of economic value.

The following exploration activities are recommended for the Jake's Gully property:

1. A tightly spaced geochemical survey over the north east trending fault running from Jake's Gully toward the Dog Pond pyrophyllite deposit,

2. Additional heavy media separation, including sieve analysis at multiple points on a grid,

3. Geophysical surveys including a ground VLF, Magnetometer and IP.
