Spring Senior Adult Rally - The Senior Adult Rally is Tuesday, March 25th at Wake Cross Roads Baptist Church, 3328 Forestville Road, Raleigh. Registration begins at 9:00 am and the program begins at 9:30 am. The guest speaker will be “Claudene the Hillbilly” aka Renea Henderson. Other guests will be the “Back Porch String Band” playing a variety of gospel, traditional blue grass songs, country tunes, folk songs, Mississippi blues and whatever else they think might be fun. The cost is $11.50. Registration forms are located in your classroom. If you would like to go, please get your payment into the office no later than today. Personnel Committee Meeting - Thursday, March, 27th at 7:00 pm in the Conference Room. Operation Christmas Child - For the month of March we will be collecting accessories: t-shirts, socks, ball caps, sunglasses, hair bows/clips, toy jewelry, watches, flashlights (with extra batteries), etc. The collection boxes will be at the bottom of the stairs in the Education Building and in the hallway at the back of the Sanctuary. Food Pantry Sunday - March 30th is Food Pantry Sunday, so don’t forget your food pantry donations! Supporting our local Food Pantry is an on-going mission project of the Angelic Ministers. This ministry works best when everyone donates to the food pantry and then the Angelic Ministers will make arrangements to have the food delivered to the local pantry. Food collection barrels are located in the education building for you to place your food donations. Our local food pantry is very specific in what they give out, so please make sure you purchase only what is on the list (a grocery list can be found in the vestibule for you to take home), and please be mindful of expiration dates. They will not accept expired foods. Backpack Buddies - The “Backpack Buddies” program is an ongoing ministry KBC has with Knightdale Elementary School. It provides children from food-insecure homes with

weekend meals during the school year. We need lots of kid-friendly non-perishable food items to maintain this ministry. Currently, there is an urgent need for macaroni and cheese (individual cups or boxed), canned vegetables (corn, beans, peas, carrots, potatoes, etc., 15 oz. or less), canned meat (Vienna sausage, tuna, chicken, pork & beans), and granola bars (a grocery list can be found in the vestibule for you to take home). Food collection bins are located in the Education Building and the vestibule of the Sanctuary. The children and their respective families greatly appreciate the weekend meals we provide. Thank you for being a part of this ongoing KBC ministry. Directory Update - Due to an unfortunate error on the part of Lifetouch, our new church directories are missing a member’s portrait. To complete your directory, an overlay has been supplied that can be affixed to the portrait pages. Copies are available in the church office. Please make sure to complete your 2013 KBC member directory.
