Timothy Corrigan combines an Old World sense of elegance with a California brand of ease for a debut collection of fabrics and furnishings that's chic, livable, and truly formidable. The gifted designer, whose sought-after interiors firm keeps offices in Los Angeles and Paris, looked at classic European motifs with an eye for color and comfort, creating sinuous, flowing patterns in exciting hues. A trellis motif frames colorful, curling blooms; acanthus leaves trail across gleaming silk. The palette features rich colors in bold tonalities, like corals, turquoises, and greens, as well as just-right combinations of blue and white and camel and blush pink. Coordinating decorative tapes round out the collection with subtle graphic patterns that provide the perfect finishing touch.
