I pray that these words find you and your family in the bestof health and spirit. Welcome to the June 2016 issue (No.14) of the Star and Crescent E-zine.

This month we honour and remember the first wife of theHonourable Elijah Muhammad, the First Lady of the Nationof Islam, Mother Clara Muhammad. We remember herwork, her love and loyalty to her husband, her contributionand her tireless devotion to help establish a permanentNation of Islam, which cannot and should not go unnoticed.We thank Allah for blessing us with this amazing womanwho went above and beyond the call of duty.

We also re-examine the health benefits of fasting as weapproach the Holy Month of Ramadan, which is about tocommence in early June 2016. As Ramadan approaches, itis always prudent to be reminded of the spiritual andphysical benefits when we fast.

Also in this issue, we attempt to answer the question 'Whatis a Semite?' Given the overwhelming amount of mediacoverage during the recent 2016 London Mayor elections,the nationwide council elections, the forthcoming EUreferendum, and the ensuing row that took place in theLabour Party, in order for us to understand what an 'anti-semite' is, we must first examine the question, 'What is aSemite?'

In this issue, we introduce you to Money Mob. Money Mobis an organised dedicated group of Black people whopromote spending the Black pound with Black business.What kind of economic future are Black people going tohave if we continue spending our money with other peoplewho continue to openly disrespect us? We must accept andsupport our own.

The Star and Crescent E-zine wish all who are fasting thisyear, Ramadan Mubarak, a greeting which means have ablessed and generous Ramadan.

(1899 ­ 1972)Born   Clara   Evans   on   2   November   1899   near   Macon,Georgia, Clara married Elijah Poole (the Honourable ElijahMuhammad) at the age of 17. Growing up, Mother Claraexperienced first hand the Jim Crow laws of the southernstates of   the USA. During this period there was a massmigration   of   Black   people   not   only   in   the   USA   butthroughout the entire world.

Mother Clara Muhammad and her husband migrated to thenorth   and   arrived   in   Detroit,   Michigan   in   1923   with   twosmall children. Hard times persisted in the northern statesof   the   USA   and   both   Mother   Clara   and   her   husbandstruggled to support   their  growing family without  full­timeemployment.

Mother Clara described this in a 1967 article in MuhammadSpeaks   newspaper.   “With   5   small   children,   there   weretimes we didn't have a piece of bread  in  the house, norheat, water or even sufficient clothing. My husband wouldwalk  the streets  looking  for a   job daily,  but would comehome with no job. I would go out and try to help him butwith 5 children I  could not work steady. However,   I  wassuccessful when I went door to door, asking for work.'

Clara Evans experienced the harsh reality of being a Blackwoman working  as  a  domestic   servant   in   the  homes ofwhite people where poor wages, and the risk of physicaland sexual assault were the norm.

In 1929,  the US stock market crashed. This  led to moreeconomic misery and the Great Depression of the 1930's.As   a   consequence,   the   lives   of   Black   people   wereconstantly under attack. There were lynchings, race riots,the Black death rate exceeded the birth rate. Mother Claraand her family were just about surviving this terrible periodof their lives.

There was no relief in sight for Black people. By 1929, theHonourable Marcus Garvey had come and gone and sohad Noble Drew Ali. Both were virtuous and dedicated menwho tried their  best  to uplift   the oppressed Black peoplefrom their slumber.

However, it would take one mightier than them. It was like awhirlwind through Detroit.   It  was a voice speaking wordssuch as Allah, Islam, Asiatic, the Black man and woman isGod, the Original Man, Yacub, grafted man and the white

man is the devil.

In the Bible, revelations 10:7, we read, 'But in the days ofthe voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin tosound, the mystery of God should be finished.' It madesense,   then,   that  she heard  the  talk  of   this  man MasterFard   Muhammad's   message   of   race   and   economicadvancement, sounded attractive when she heard it from afriend in 1931.

Mother Clara stated, 'My friend told me there's a man who'ssaying things about our people. We once dressed in longflowing   clothes   and   we   were   royal.'   Upon   her   friend'sinvitation to meet Master Fard Muhammad, Mother Clara'sfirst   thought  was of  her  husband who was haunted withhopelessness   and   despair.   'Maybe   this   might   help   myhusband,' she prayed.

Elijah Poole decided to go and see what all the commotionwas about and attended the next meeting, which proved tobe   a   revelation   as   it   marked   the   beginning   of   theHonourable Elijah Muhammad and the Nation of Islam. In1931,  after  hearing   the  word/teachings   for   the  very   firsttime,   Elijah   Poole   was   overwhelmed   and   immediatelyaccepted the message. The whole family was introducedand  Clara  became her  husband's   first   convert   and  bestfollower.

As  the  Nation  of   Islam grew,   so   too  did  Mother  Clara'scontributions.   The   critical   and   vital   role   of   women   waspresent   from  the  beginning  of   the  movement  by  MasterFard  Muhammad and Elijah  Muhammad.  The  MGT andGCC   means   'Muslim   Girls   in   Training   and   GeneralCivilisation Class,' which was specifically set up for womenwho are taught that they are the women of God and to tapinto their gifts, the skills and talents that they possess. TheMGT   and   GCC   was   founded   and   led   by   Mother   ClaraMuhammad at that time.

Mother Clara also pioneered the Nation of Islam's primaryand secondary school systems in the 1930's which becamenational in the 1950's. The first classes were held in MotherClara's home and she was the first teacher.

Mother Clara and Elijah Muhammad withdrew their childrenfrom the public school system despite harassment by thelaw enforcement authorities. She told the police at the door,'I'd rather die than send my children to the public system.'

After   the   departure   of   Master   Fard   Muhammad,   ElijahMuhammad contended for the leadership of the Nation ofIslam   against   rivals   who   threatened   his   life.   ElijahMuhammad left Mother Clara virtually a single mother of 8children for nearly 10 years.

Added to this difficult situation, the Great Depression wasstill in effect adding pressure to the situation. Mother Claratook on the enormous task of carrying on the work of theNation of Islam in her husband's absence.

In his lecture, 'A nation can rise no higher than its woman,'dated 25 June 1994, Minister Farrakhan stated when Adamleft,   Eve   was   alone.   Mary   had   no   man   by   her   side.   InGenesis, there is a woman running in the wilderness with aman­child. Hagar was also by herself. All these women puttheir faith in Allah (God).

Mother   Clara's   situation   was   similar   to   the   women   inscripture.   Her   faith   was   so   deep   and   strong   that   sheallowed Allah to guide her through the difficult times. In theBook of Joshua, chapter 1:9, we read, 'Be strong and ofgood   courage.   Do   not   be   afraid,   neither   be   thoudismayed   for   the   Lord   thy   God   is   with   thee   wither­soever thou goest.' 

Mother Clara was described by Elijah Muhammad as an

'interim leader' who carried out his orders from prison to theNation of Islam's ministers and followers, encouraging themto   continue   the   work   of   Nation   building   through   regularmeetings and recruitment.  

In  Proverbs,  chapter  31:26,  we  read,   'She openeth hermouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law ofkindness.'  During  Elijah  Muhammad's   imprisonment,   hewas a model prisoner and was allowed to teach his fellowinmates   about   Islam.   However,   his   request   for   a   HolyQur'an was denied. Mother Clara copied out  the Englishtranslation verses of the Holy Qur'an and delivered them tohim on her visits.

Mother Clara also came to her husband's rescue when hewas  jailed  in Washington DC. For a  few months his bailwas   set   at   $5,000.   Mother   Clara   raised   the   money   byselling   old   papers   and   scrap   iron.   She   arrived   inWashington  DC dressed  in   long  white   robes,  carrying  awhite bag full of pennies, nickels, dimes and quarter dollarcoins all raised by the Believers of the nation of Islam.

These were some of the duties performed by Mother Clarafor her husband and her Nation. In Revelation chapter 12:1,we read, 'And there appeared a great wonder in heaven;a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under herfeet and upon her head a crown of twelve stars.'

We thank and honour Mother Clara Muhammad for beingso   courageous   and   devoted   to   the   Word   of   God.   TheNation of Islam survived and prison inmates were able tostudy from the Holy Qur'an.

Mother   Clara   Muhammad   remained   devoted   to   herhusband and family, the Nation of Islam schools that shefounded until her death on 12 August 1972. She came sothat   we   could   have   life.   Mother   Clara   Muhammad,   wesalute you.

Fasting during the HolyMonth of Ramadan

During Lent and the Holy Month of Ramadan, Christiansand Muslims are regularly required to perform fasting inobservance of their faith. Lent lasts for a period of 40 daysand nights (approximately 6 weeks) prior to Easter inrecognition for the time that Prophet Jesus spent in thewilderness in preparation of his ministry.

According to their faith, Christians are required to give upsomething they enjoy, add something of value to their livesthat will bring them closer to Allah (God), and often givetime and money spent doing that towards a charitablepurpose or organisation.

During the Holy Month of Ramadan, for 30 days, aftersunrise and before sunset, Muslims are required to refrainfrom eating food and drinking water. The fast is intended tobe an act of prayer and deep personal worship in whichMuslims seek a raised level of closeness to Allah (God).

Fasting is said to redirect the heart away from worldlyactivities. its purpose being to cleanse the inner soul andfree it from harm. Properly observing the fast is supposedto induce a feeling of peace and calm.

It also allows Muslims to practice self-discipline, patience,sacrifice, as well as sympathy for those who are lessfortunate, intending to make Muslims more generous andcharitable.

Why fast? What does it feel like to fast? Do you have thewill power to deny yourself eating food, even if it is only forone day? Can your mind and body endure a fast? How willfasting affect me if I am unwell or on a special diet?

Over time, poisons and toxins build up in the body as aresult of the air pollutants we breathe, the chemicals whichhave been added to our food and water, and by other

means. Periodically, the body seeks to rid itself of thesetoxins and release them from the body's tissues. The toxinsenter the bloodstream causing the body to experience a'low' or 'down' cycle. During such a cycle, we mayexperience headaches, diarrhoea or depression.

Fasting is a safe, natural and effective method in helpingthe body to detoxify itself and move through this low cyclewith greater speed and fewer symptoms. In fact, fasting isrecommended for any illness as it gives the body the rest itneeds to recover.

Acute illnesses, colon disorders, allergies and respiratorydiseases are most responsive to fasting, while chronicdegenerative diseases are least responsive. By relievingthe body of the work of digesting foods, fasting permits thebody's systems to rid themselves of toxins while facilitatinghealing.

But fasting is helpful not just in times of poor health orduring the body's low cycles. By fasting regularly, you giveall your internal organs a rest, you reverse the ageingprocess and you live a longer and healthier life.

During a fast the following happens:

• The natural process of toxin excretion continues,while the influx of new toxins is reduced. Thisresults in a reduction of total body toxicity;

• The energy normally used for digestion isredirected to immune functions, cellular growthand eliminatory processes;

• The immune system workload is greatly reduced,and the digestive tract is spared any inflammationdue to allergic reactions to food;

• Due to the lowering of serum fats that thin theblood, tissue oxygenation is increased and whiteblood cells are moved around the circulatorysystem more efficiently;

• Fat stored chemicals, such as pesticides andpharmaceutical drugs, are released; and

• Physical awareness and sensitivity to diet andsurroundings are increased.

Due to these effects, a fast can help you heal with greaterspeed, cleanse the liver, kidneys and colon, purify theblood, help you lose excess weight and water, flush outtoxins, clear the eyes and tongue and cleanse the breath.

Depending on the length of the fast, it can accomplishdifferent things. For example, a 3 day fast helps to rid thebody of toxins and cleanses the blood. A 5 day fast beginsthe process of healing and rebuilding the immune system.A 10 day fast can take care of many problems before theyarise and help fight off illnesses, including degenerativediseases that are so common in our chemically pollutedenvironment.

Certain precautions should be taken during a fast. First, donot fast on water alone. An all water fast releases toxinsfrom the body too quickly, causing headaches and worse.Instead, follow a live juice diet as this both removes toxinsand promotes healing by supplying the body with vitamins,minerals and enzymes.

Such a fast is also more likely to lead to a continuedhealthy diet once the fast is over as it will accustom you tothe taste of raw vegetables and the vitality that this dietpromotes.

Second, whenever you fast for more than 3 days, do sounder the supervision of a qualified health careprofessional. If you have diabetes, hypoglycaemia or otherchronic health problems, even short fasts should besupervised by a doctor. Pregnant and lactating womenshould never fast.

Finally, it has taken several years to wear your body downand it will take time to build it back up to its peak condition,but only if you believe that it can be done. Then wheneveryou start to feel unwell, fast and feel better.

Message to the Blackman

The Coming of the Son of Man, the Great Mahdi“For as lightening cometh out of the East, and shinetheven unto the West,  so shall  also the coming of theSon of Man be” (Matt 24:27)

My greatest and only desire is to bring true understandingof the word of God, his prophets and the scriptures, whichthe prophets were sent  with,  pertaining  to  the  lost­foundpeople (the American so­called Negroes) of God and thejudgment of the world.

You must forget about ever seeing a return of Jesus, Whowas here 2,000 years ago. Set your heart on seeing theOne  that  He prophesied  would   come at   the  end of   thepresent world's time (the white race's time).

He is called the “Son of Man” the “Christ” the “Comforter.”You are really foolish to be looking to see the return of theProphet Jesus. It  is the same as looking for the return ofAbraham, Moses and Muhammad.  All  of   these prophetsprophesied the coming of Allah or One with equal power,under many names. You must remember that Jesus couldnot   have   been   referring   to   himself   as   returning   to   thepeople in the last days.

He prophesied of another's coming who was much greaterthan He. Jesus even acknowledged that He did not knowwhen the hour would come in these words:  “But of thatday and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels ofheaven, but my Father only.” (Matthew 24:36).

If He were the one to return at the end of the world, surelyHe would have had knowledge of the time of His return –the knowledge of the hour. But He left Himself out of thatknowledge   and   placed   it   where   it   belonged,   as   all   theothers – prophets – had done. No prophet has been able totell us the hour of the judgment. No one but He, the greatall  wise  God,  Allah.  He  is   called   the   “Son of  Man,”   the“Mahdi,” the “Christ.” The prophets, Jesus included, couldonly   foretell   those   things  which  would   serve  as  signs  –signs   that  would  precede such a  great  one's   coming   to

judge the world. The knowledge of the hour of judgment iswith the Executor only.

The prophets teach us to let the past judgments of people,their cities, and their warners serve as a lesson, or sign ofthe last judgment and its warners. Noah did not know thehour of the flood. Lot did not know the Hour of Sodom andGomorrah   until   the   Executors   had   arrived,   and   Jesusprophesied (Matt: 23:37): “It will be the same in the lastjudgement of the world of Satan.” You have gone astraybecause   of   your   misunderstanding   of   the   scripture,   theProphet Jesus, and the coming of God to judge the world.My corrections are not accepted.

Your misunderstanding and misinterpretation of it is reallythe joy of devils. For it is the devils' desire to keep the so­called Negroes ignorant of the truth of God until they see itwith   their   eyes.   The   truth   of   God   is   the   salvation   andfreedom of the so­called Negroes from the devils' power.

Can you  blame  them? No!  Blame  yourself   for  being  sofoolish as to allow the devils to fool you in not accepting thetruth after it comes to you. The devils have tried to deceivethe people all over the earth with Christianity; that is, Godthe Father, Jesus the Son, the Holy Ghost – three Godsinto One God – the resurrection of the Son and His returnto judge the world; or that the Son is in some place abovethe   earth,   sitting   on   the   right   hand   side   of   the   Father,waiting until the Father makes His enemies His footstool.The period of waiting is 2,000 years. Yet, He died for theFather to save His enemies (the whole world of sinners).

My   friends,   use   a   bit   of   common   sense.   First,   could   awonderful flesh and blood body, made of the essence ofour earth,  last 2,000 years on the earth or off  the earth,without being healed! Second, where exists such a heaven,of   the earth,   that  flesh and blood of   the earth can exist,since the Bible teaches that flesh and blood cannot enterheaven? (Cor. 15:50).

Flesh and blood cannot survive without that of which it  ismade – the earth.  Jesus'  prophesy of   the coming of   theSon of Man is very clear,  if you rightly understand. First,this   removes  all  doubts  about  who we should  expect   toexecute judgment, for if man is to be judged and rewardedaccording to his actions, who could be justified in sitting asjudge of  a man's doings but another man? How could aspirit be our judge when we cannot see a spirit? And, eversince   life  was  created,   life  has  had spirit.  But   the  Bibleteaches that God will be seen on the Day of Judgment. Notonly the righteous will see Him, but even His enemies shallsee Him.

On that day, a Son of Man will sit to judge men accordingto  their  works.  Who  is  the Father of   this son, coming tojudge the world? Is his Father of flesh and blood or is He a“spirit?”  Where   is   this  Son coming   from? Prophet  Jesussaid: “He will come from the East.” (Matt 24:27) – from theland and people of Islam, where all of the former prophetscame from. Jesus compared His coming as “the lightening.”Of course, lightening cannot be seen or heard at a greatdistance.

West,” is our day sun. But the Son of Man's coming is likeboth   the   lightening   and   our   day   sun.   His   work   of   theresurrection of the mentally dead so­called Negroes, andjudgment   between truth and falsehood, is compared withlightening – on an instant. His swiftness in condemning thefalsehood is  like the sudden flash of  lightening  in a darkplace. America is that dark place, where the darkness hasblinded the people so they cannot find the “right way” out.The sudden “flash of lightening” enables them to see thatthey are way off   from the  “right  path.”  They walk  a  fewsteps towards the “right way” but soon have to stop andwait for another bright flash. What they actually need is thelight of the sun (God in Person), that they may clearly seetheir way. The lightening does more than flash a light. It isalso   destructive,   striking   whom   Allah   pleases,   or   takingproperty   as   well   as   lives.   The   brightness   of   its   flashesalmost blinds the eyes.

So it is with the coming of the Son of Man, with the truth, tocast it against falsehood – that it breaks the head. Just alittle hint of it makes the falsehood begin looking guilty andseeking cover from the brightness of the truth. Sometimeslightening serves as a warning of an approaching storm. Sodoes Allah warn us by sending His Messengers with thetruth,  before   the  approaching  destruction  of  a  people   towhom chastisement is justly due. They come flashing thetruth in the midst of the spiritually darkened people. Thosewho love the spiritual darkness will close their eyes to theflash of truth – like lightening, pointing out to them the “rightway,” thus building themselves from the knowledge of theapproaching destruction of   the storm of  Allah – and aredestroyed. “As lightening cometh out of the East, so shallthe coming of the Son of Man be.”

Let us reflect on this prophesy from the direction in whichthis son shall come, “out of the East.” If He is to come fromthe East, to chastise or destroy that of the West, then Hemust be pleased with the East. The dominant religion of theEast   is   Islam.   The   holy   religious   teachings   of   all   theprophets, from Adam to Muhammad, was none other thanIslam (Holy Qur'an 4:163). They were all of the East andcame from direction with the light of the truth and shonetowards the old wicked darkness of the West. But the Westhas never closed its eyes and thus making it necessary forthe coming of  the Son of Man,  the Great Mahdi, God  inperson.

Being   the   end   of   the   signs,   in   His   person,   He   dispelsfalsehood with the truth – as the sun dispels night on itsrising  from the East.  Why should  the  tribes of   the earthmourn because of the coming of the Son of Man, instead ofrejoicing?

Paul Muhammad, Money Mob mobilises and encouragesBlack people to spend the Black pound in Black shops. 

On   14   May   2016,   members   of   Money   Mob   visitedLewisham market and shopping centre. Each person wasasked to spend a minimum of £10. We first visited a marketstall   run   by   David   'The   Lion'   Evans.   He   has   been   inbusiness for 43 years in various locations throughout SouthLondon selling Caribbean produce. 

However, when he first started out in the 1970's, he facedoverwhelming   opposition   from   various   local   councilbureaucracies,  he  encountered   racism  from  the  NationalFront and the British National Party.

He   fought   off   numerous   campaigns   from   the   localcompetition  who  were  determined   to  do  everything   theycould to stop him going into business or where necessaryput  him out  and keep him out  of  business.  His  vehicleswere damaged several times over and he received severalthreats. 

All praise and credit goes to our Brother who fought backand refused to quit. He was determined to fight on learningthe   lessons   from every  setback.  When he  was knockeddown, he got back up, rolled up his sleeves and got back towork  rebuilding his  business and serving  the communitywith good quality  food. We must continue to support  hismarket stall presence in Lewisham Market.

Money   Mob   also   visited   Xsandy's,   based   in   LewishamShopping Centre, the only Black owned Hair and Beautyshop in South East London. Xsandy's sells a wide range ofBlack hair, beauty and toiletry products, and will be openinga second shop in Peckham in June this year.

Like most Black businesses starting out, they have had toendure  the hostility   from other organised sections of   thebusiness community who deliberately undercut their pricesto drive potential  customers away, or who will  harass oreven steal from our Brothers and Sisters who are trying to

start out on this difficult journey.

We must do what we can to support Black business on thehigh   street.   What   future   will   we   leave   behind   for   ourchildren   in   terms   of   job   creation   and   economicdevelopment. We cannot depend on a future of our own ifwe   continue   building   someone   else's   world,   someoneelse's reality. We must build an economic foundation andan economic reality of our own. We must do all we can topreserve and increase the Black business presence on thehigh street.

Minister   Louis   Farrakhan   teaches   us   that   business   iswarfare.  All   the  more   reason  why  we  must   support   ourBrothers and Sisters who are striving to set up and remainin business for themselves and the wider Black community.

What is a Semite?The Semites are, according to the highly authoritative1944   edition   of   the   Oxford   Universal   Dictionary,(p.1838) Semites are the people belonging to the raceof   mankind   which   includes   most   of   the   peoplesmentioned   in   Genesis  10   as  descended   from Shem,one of the three sons of Noah. This includes the Arabs,Hebrews,   Assyrians,   Arameans   as   well   as   otherancient races who spoke a Semitic language as theirnative tongue. Most people in the world are under theimpression   that   the   modern   Jew   is   of   Hebrew   orSemitic origin,  but  in reality  this belief  is  unfoundedand highly erroneous.

The   Jewish   Encyclopedia   tells   us   about   the   Khazars(spelling   varies)   “Chazars:   A   people   of   Turkish   originwhose   life   and   history   are   interwoven   with   the   verybeginning of the history of the Jews in Russia... driven onby   the  nomadic   tribes  of   the  steppes  and  by   their   owndesire for plunder and revenge. In the second half of the6th century the Chazars moved westwards... the kingdomof the Chazars was firmly established in most of southernRussia long before the foundation of the Russian monarchyby the Vangarians (855 AD). At this time the kingdom of theChazars   stood   at   the   height   of   its   power   and   wasconstantly at war. At  the end of  the eighth century...   thechagan (king) of the Chazars and his grandees, togetherwith a large number of his heathen people, embraced theJewish religion. (Having the Christians to their left and theMuslims to their right they were asked to join either one ofthose religions,  but   the chagan out  of  protest  chose  theJewish religion).

After Obadiah came a long succession of chagans (kings),for according to a fundamental law of the state only Jewishrulers were permitted to ascend the throne. So we gleanfrom   strictly   Jewish   sources   that   the   vast   majority   ofpresent day Jews cannot claim to be descendants of theoriginal Hebrews, and possibly heirs to Palestine. 

Because  of   that   fact,   the   term  “anti­Semitism”  does   notrefer to the modern Jews. Benjamin Freedman, a Jew whowas on a first name basis with most of the top Zionists inthe  ’1930s and  ’1940s, puts his  finger  firmly on the  truepurpose behind   the  use  of   the   term  “anti­Semitism”.  Hedeclares   that   “it   should   be   eliminated   from   the   Englishlanguage”.

Also what happened in the Third Reich is not necessarilyrelated to “anti­Semitism”, it had to do with “anti­Khazarism”and “anti­Talmudism” (especially the “Mosaic Law”) whichwill be answered correctly by any SS­member (if still alive).

The most widely known and powerful Khazar family is theRothschild   family,  who are named after   the  'Red Shield'that   is   the symbol  of   the  Khazars.  Rothschild  and otherwealthy   bankers,   including   George   Bush's   grand­father,(Prescott Bush) supported Hitler during the war.

Keep in mind that, because the modern Jews are not ofHebrew origin, they never had and never will have a rightfor  claiming  the  land of  Palestine.  The state of   Israel   isabsolutely   illegal,   even   if   the   Jews   would   have   someHebrew origin. To bring it down to the point: the race withthe most “anti­Semitic” attitude is probably the modern Jewhimself.

Leading Labour Party activistJacqueline Walker, of ThanetMomentum, suspended over

comments about the Holocaust

Labour is facing a deepening row over the suspensionof a leading figure in the Kent branch of the left wingcampaign group Momentum.

Jacqueline Walker was suspended by the Labour party forcontroversial comments about the Holocaust. Ms Walker,who lives in Broadstairs, Kent, is a key figure in Momentumand   the   Thanet   branch   of   the   left   wing   group   whichsupports Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn. She is vicechairman of the group’s national steering committee.

It  emerged  that  her  suspension  prompted  Momentum  tolaunch a campaign demanding the Labour Party reverse itsdecision   and   called   on   members   to   e­mail   the   partyGeneral Secretary Ian McNicol.

Meanwhile, her partner Graham Bash accused Labour of awitch­hunt. In an editorial for the left­wing Labour Briefing,magazine he writes: "What is happening in the party todayis an attempt to cynically use rare examples, and usuallyfalse allegations, of anti­Semitism as part of a McCarthyitewitch­hunt against supporters of Jeremy."

One Labour Party source said the fact that Momentum wasmobilising a campaign to support her rather than helpingget   its   vote   out   on   election   day   was   "depressing." MsWalker posted on Facebook in response to a critic who hadasked her about the Holocaust by writing about the “Africanholocaust.”

She wrote:   “As I’m sure you know, millions more Africanswere killed  in  the African holocaust and their  oppressioncontinues today on a global scale in a way it  doesn’t  forJews.” She posted an article about the on­going row withinthe   party   over   anti­semitism.   She   said   it   was   a   “lie”   tosuggest there was a “major problem with anti­semitism inthe Labour Party”.

“Like everywhere in British society the Labour Party fails,and fails too often, to be what we would want it to be ­ a

bastion of socialism and internationalism,” she wrote.

“The chief victims of those failures however are not peopleof Jewish descent, but are the many other representativesof other minorities under­represented  in  the structures ofthe   Labour   Party   and   discriminated   against   inside   andoutside   the   Labour   Party   economically,   culturally   andpolitically in contemporary Britain.”

In   a   statement,   she   strongly   denied   being   anti­semitic,pointing out  she herself  was of  Jewish descent:   "I  havebeen suspended from the Labour Party for allegedly anti­Semitic comments. I have been an active anti­racist trainerand campaigner for years, often in all  white communitiesand in the most vulnerable situations. I have been spat atand beaten by racists. I have marched against the fascists,defended   minorities,   am   of   Jewish   descent   as   is   mypartner. If they can do this to me they can do it to anyone."

In   a   brief   statement,   the   Labour   party   said   it   hadsuspended   Ms   Walker   pending   an   investigation.   Hersuspension has been condemned by KARN ­ the Kent AntiRacism   Network.   It   issued   a   statement   saying   it   waspolitically  motivated.  The statement  said:  The Kent  Anti­Racism   Network   (KARN)   is   appalled   to   hear   of   thesuspension of Jackie Walker from the Labour Party today.We understand that she is being investigated for commentsthat have been deemed anti­Semitic by the Israel AdvocacyMovement." 

"Jackie Walker  is a founder member of KARN. She is ofJewish   heritage   and   her   partner   is   Jewish.   She   workstirelessly to combat racism in all its forms, and has been akey   player   in   co­ordinating   the   response   to   the   recentfascist demonstrations that have been focused on Dover." 

It went on: "We believe that Jackie Walker’s suspension ispolitically   motivated.   We   support   her   unequivocally   andurge the Labour movement to stand with one of their mostcommitted anti­racist campaigners."

Jeremy  Corbyn   recently  announced  an   inquiry   into  anti­semitism and other forms of racism in the party, followingthe suspension of Ken Livingstone and MP Naz Shah forcontroversial comments both made.

What the Muslims want 1. We want freedom. We want a full and completefreedom.

2. We want justice. Equal justice under the law. We wantjustice applied equally to all, regardless of creed or class orcolour.

3. We want equality of opportunity. We want equalmembership in society with the best in civilized society.

4. We want our people in America whose parents orgrandparents were descendants from slaves, to be allowedto establish a separate state or territory of their own–eitheron this continent or elsewhere. We believe that our formerslave masters are obligated to provide such land and thatthe area must be fertile and minerally rich. We believe thatour former slave masters are obligated to maintain andsupply our needs in this separate territory for the next 20 to25 years – until we are able to produce and supply our ownneeds. Since we cannot get along with them in peace andequality, after giving them 400 years of our sweat andblood and receiving in return some of the worst treatmenthuman beings have ever experienced, we believe ourcontributions to this land and the suffering forced upon usby white America, justifies our demand for completeseparation in a state or territory of our own.

5. We want freedom for all Believers of Islam now held infederal prisons. We want freedom for all Black men andwomen now under death sentence in innumerable prisonsin the North as well as the South. We want every Blackman and woman to have the freedom to accept or rejectbeing separated from the slave master’s children andestablish a land of their own. We know that the above planfor the solution of the Black and white conflict is the bestand only answer to the problem between two people.

6. We want an immediate end to the police brutality andmob attacks against the so-called Negro throughout theUnited States. We believe that the Federal governmentshould intercede to see that Black men and women tried inwhite courts receive justice in accordance with the laws ofthe land–or allow us to build a new nation for ourselves,dedicated to justice, freedom and liberty.

7. As long as we are not allowed to establish a state orterritory of our own, we demand not only equal justiceunder the laws of the United States, but equal employment

opportunities–NOW! We do not believe that after 400 yearsof free or nearly free labour, sweat and blood, which hashelped America become rich and powerful, so manythousands of Black people should have to subsist on reliefor charity or live in poor houses.

8. We want the government of the United States to exemptour people from ALL taxation as long as we are deprived ofequal justice under the laws of the land.

9. We want equal education–but separate schools up to 16for boys and 18 for girls on the condition that the girls besent to women’s colleges and universities. We want allBlack children educated, taught and trained by their ownteachers. Under such schooling system we believe we willmake a better nation of people. The United Statesgovernment should provide, free, all necessary text booksand equipment, schools and college buildings. The Muslimteachers shall be left free to teach and train their people inthe way of righteousness, decency and self respect.

10. We believe that intermarriage or race mixing should beprohibited. We want the religion of Islam taught withouthindrance or suppression.

What The Muslims Believe1. WE BELIEVE In the One God whose proper Name isAllah.

2. WE BELIEVE in the Holy Qur’an and in the Scriptures ofall the Prophets of God.

3. WE BELIEVE in the truth of the Bible, but we believethat it has been tampered with and must be reinterpretedso that mankind will not be snared by the falsehoods thathave been added to it.

4. WE BELIEVE in Allah’s Prophets and the Scriptures theybrought to the people.

5. WE BELIEVE in the the resurrection of the dead–not inphysical resurrection–but in mental resurrection. Webelieve that the so-called Negroes are most in need ofmental resurrection; therefore they will be resurrected first.Furthermore, we believe we are the people of God’schoice, as it has been written, that God would choose therejected and the despised. We can find no other personsfitting this description in these last days more that the so-

called Negroes in America. We believe in the resurrectionof the righteous.

6. WE BELIEVE in the judgment; we believe this firstjudgment will take place as God revealed, in America…

7. WE BELIEVE this is the time in history for the separationof the so-called Negroes and the so-called whiteAmericans. We believe the Black man should be freed inname as well as in fact. By this we mean that he should befreed from the names imposed upon him by his formerslave masters. Names which identified him as being theslave master’s slave. We believe that if we are free indeed,we should go in our own people’s names–the Black peopleof the Earth.

8. WE BELIEVE in justice for all, whether in God or not; webelieve as others, that we are due equal justice as humanbeings. We believe in equality–as a nation–of equals. Wedo not believe that we are equal with our slave masters inthe status of “freed slaves.” We recognize and respectAmerican citizens as independent peoples and we respecttheir laws which govern this nation.

9. WE BELIEVE that the offer of integration is hypocriticaland is made by those who are trying to deceive the Blackpeoples into believing that their 400-year-old open enemiesof freedom, justice and equality are, all of a sudden, their“friends.” Furthermore, we believe that such deception isintended to prevent Black people from realizing that thetime in history has arrived for the separation from thewhites of this nation. If the white people are truthful abouttheir professed friendship toward the so-called Negro, theycan prove it by dividing up America with their slaves. We donot believe that America will ever be able to furnish enoughjobs for her own millions of unemployed, in addition to jobsfor the 20,000,000 black people as well.

10. WE BELIEVE that we who declare ourselves to berighteous Muslims, should not participate in wars whichtake the lives of humans. We do not believe this nationshould force us to take part in such wars, for we havenothing to gain from it unless America agrees to give us thenecessary territory wherein we may have something to fightfor.

11. WE BELIEVE our women should be respected andprotected as the women of other nationalities are respectedand protected.

12. WE BELIEVE that Allah (God) appeared in the Personof Master W Fard Muhammad, July, 1930; the long-awaited“Messiah” of the Christians and the “Mahdi” of the Muslims.We believe further and lastly that Allah is God and besidesHIM there is no god and He will bring about a universalgovernment of peace wherein we all can live in peacetogether.
