SCTE/ISBE CABLE-TEC EXPO ATTENDANCE SURPASSES 10,000; NEXT-GEN TECHNOLO-
GIES, ADVANCES IN WORKFORCE LEARNING TOP AGENDA…
Attendance at the four-day conference represented a 21 percent increase over 2015, when Cable-Tec Expo drew 8,600 attendees in New Orleans. International attendance was more than 1,300, a 14 percent increase over 2015. The show floor again featured nearly 400 exhibi-tors, 62 of which were new to SCTE/ISBE Cable-Tec Ex-po. Expo has been a focal point for the technologies driv-ing cable into the future, attracting nearly 130 first-time exhibitors over the past two years. SCTE/ISBE Cable-Tec Expo(r) 2016 focused strongly on next-generation planning that is changing customer ex-periences and how they are delivered. In the general session, in workshops, at the new Innovation Theater and elsewhere on the show floor, discussion revolved around the evolution of networks to reliably and univer-sally deliver worldwide a variety of game-changing tech-nologies in such areas as Virtualization, Internet of Things, Wireless, 4K/HDR, Big Data and Energy Manage-ment.

SCTE Region 1 consolidated Award Matrix Report
Please review our SCTE Region 1 consolidated Award Matrix Report as of October 21, 2016.
We only have two months remaining in the year to put our best final efforts on task to finish the year strong.
As a region we see the top three Chapters are sustaining their position with honorable performance achievements:
The Golden Gate team is reaching for the stars with a very impressive performance! Sierra and Central Cal are rank-
ing 2nd and 3rd, with SoCal, San Diego, and Desert chapters ranking in 4th, 5th, and 6th positions.
Summary: We still have work to do! Based on the recent data from SCTE/ISBE Headquarters effective 10/21/2016
the overall compliance standings for our Region is indicating we are struggling to reach full compliance.
Compliance action items are:
Confirmed / Updated Bank Signature Card
3rd Quarter Financials (Due today—10/31/2016)
2016 Bylaws Submitted
Board meets 4 times / Year
Entire Board are SCTE Members
