A Beach Day

The day was beautiful! Janie and Jake’s mom decided to take them to the beach. She even told them that they could each bring a friend. Janie decided to ask Hayley since Hayley had just had her over to play last week. Jake asked his friend Charlie—they went everywhere together. Once both friends had arrived, it was time to load up the van. The kids packed some beach toys while Mom packed the cooler, beach towels and a chair for herself. Once on their way, Jake and Charlie groaned. They had forgotten their boogie boards. Oh well! They had their buckets and shovels to build a huge sandcastle. Jake and Charlie loved to add roads, moats and other details to their castle. At the beach, everyone helped to unload the van. Then Mom made everyone put on sunscreen. It was going to be a hot one--91 with no clouds! Right away, the kids started playing. Jake and Charlie began working on their sandcastle, and Janie and Hayley went looking for seashells. What a great day!

Mom took Jane and Jake’s good friends to the beach for the day.

This summer, for my birthday, my mom and dad took two of my friends to Ocean City Maryland for the weekend.

The story said it was going to be 91.

That reminds me of when I went to Florida and it was very hot there.

One day a long time ago my parents and I went to a beach in New Jersey.

It was a summer sunny afternoon and Mom and Dad planned to go to the beach in New Jersey with my cousins.

Janie, Jake and Mom are going to the beach and they forgot their boogie boards.

When we went to the beach we forgot the boogie boards so we had to go to a store and buy new boogie boards.

The event was that they were going to a beach and they were aloud to invite one person with them.

This reminds me of going to the store and going to look at the games and then going to look for my dad because I was lost.

Mom, Jake, Janie and their friends were all going to the beach.

This reminds me of when we went to the beach together but we remembered our boogie boards.

My mom and I went looking for some shells and I got about 400 seashells or more.

Janie and Hayley went looking for seashells on the beach.

This made me think of me at the beach looking for seashells all day long.

Janie decided to bring Hayley since she was at her house last week.

That reminds me of the time when my friend and I took turns sleeping over at each other’s houses.

Janie and Jake and their friends and Mom were going to the beach. Everyone had what they needed to go. When they had gotten to the beach everyone helped unload their things out of the van. It was a beautiful day.

I remember when my mom and dad and mom’s sister and her mother went to the beach. We had extra clothes, sunblock, chairs and towels. I think it was hot on the beach. My family and I had lots of fun together.
