Based in the heart of Dublin’s very own Silicon Valley is Facebook’s new 120,000 sq feet office space. Situated at No 4 Grand Canal Square close to the Bord Gais Energy Theatre in Grand Canal Square, the building plays host to over 1,000 employees from all over the world.

To celebrate the culture of Ireland, Facebook approached TPI, Ireland’s leading installations team to brainstorm opportunities. TPI specialise in taking 100% ownership of a project (producing, sourcing and installing) so that the client deals with one supplier, has one invoice and more importantly has complete trust that the project will be completed to perfection.

The brief was for TPI to turn a corner of Facebook’s European Headquarters into a traditional Irish pub. The majority of materials were sourced by TPI over the course of a couple of weeks and of course the actual install was conducted by TPI also. Due to the nature of the environment, all work was carried out after working hours so TPI set to work at 6am on a Saturday morning.

The project emphasised TPI’s ability to attract not only Ireland’s but the world’s leading organisations, take a brief from them and run with it. If you are interested in adding personality to your own building or office, contact a member of the TPI team for further assistance.

Point of Sale

Moving Through the ClutterAt this stage it is well established that Point of Sale plays a vital role in influencing consumers to make in store purchasing decisions

The vast array of point of sale materials in the retail

environment is more apparent than ever. Stores are full of all types of displays promoting new products or special offers and it is becoming essential to shout the loudest to command the shopper’s attention.

Standing out from the rest, being bright, bold and innovative. This is what we strive to achieve when looking at point of sale displays for our clients. Static displays are now becoming too familiar so we are looking at all types of enhancements to include in the displays we produce.

The TPI Innovation team work on the senses, sound, sight and touch. These are conveyed through motion activated sound boxes, rotational motors creating spinning pieces and texturized boards all with the objective of drawing the shoppers eye to the display.

A recent project we undertook was for General Mills, who were bringing a new product SKU to market. They organically wanted to build on the innovative features incorporated into previous Foyer Displays by adding movement. Our team enhanced the Foyer Display by including a rotating header into the displays focusing on the new product attribute. The bright artwork visuals of the display also complemented the spinning header to ensure maximum visibility and standout to truly move through the clutter!

Studies cited in the POPAI book show that customer interaction increased by 90% when promotional POS was added to a display. When motion was added, sales increased by 44% against those achieved by static POS.

The Printed Image first became a Deloitte Best Managed Company (BMC) in 2012, requalifying in both 2013 and 2014. As it is our fourth year, we

underwent the qualification process again from scratch, and we are delighted to have qualified as a Gold Standard winner. The reason the Deloitte award appeals to us is because it is a team award that goes only to companies that lead in their own area of business. We felt that if we could win and retain the award, it would help TPI internally and externally, and I think it really has.

The business has continued to grow since 2012 through what have been tough years for business. I believe the BMC mark has helped us to cement that progress. We have found that being a Deloitte BMC adds significantly to our credentials when presenting to prospects or clients. We have also used the BMC programme as a means to network and add to our customer base through reciprocal arrangements with fellow Best Managed Companies.

A new more dynamic, better managed company has emerged with a better culture, where change is embraced and pushing harder has become part of everyday life. TPI continues to outperform our peers to move forward and we are constantly pushing beyond our targets. We are now focusing on the strategic direction of the business for the next three

years, bringing us to 2018. We set top-line turnover and profitability goals, with a vision of the group we want to build. We have also agreed a set of targets for the business and an outline of the steps we need to take in order to achieve them. This has seen us purchase a boutique Below The Line marketing agency called Runway Marketing and set up a specialised permanent pop-fitting company.

We intend to grow a group of clever marketing communications businesses, an idea that has evolved directly from the BMC process. Staff alignment to your strategy is, for example, a strong requirement for BMC. Our involvement in the awards strengthened our belief that spending time and money on your people is a competitive advantage, even in a recession. The benefit of sticking to our guns and funding staff training and development when money was very tight here, is now showing with a flexible 110-strong workforce that, we feel, is the envy of our peers. We have a goal – a picture of success – for TPI, and the top team here is 100 per cent.

We’re better managedwith a better culture

TERMINALFOUR is defining digital engagement for higher education.

Universities & colleges, community colleges and school districts around the country are turning to them in order to help them maximize their online potential.

TERMINALFOUR however turned to TPI to bring life to their office space. Let the operation transformation begin. Acting as the European Headquarters, their office in Amiens Street city centre was in need of a renovation. TPI’s innovations and install team lead by our very own Dermot Bannon i.e. Mark Hatty, inspected the site and worked closely with the TERMINALFOUR team from concept to delivery. Meeting rooms, pillars and workplace walls were among the many areas of the office that received a makeover.

All of this combined with the spectacular views of Connolly Station brings the TERMINALFOUR HQ to life. TPI specialise in bringing character to not only your marketing campaign but also to your office space. Take a moment to have a look around at your surroundings?

Does your workspace need a facelift? If so, TPI are only a phonecall away.

the project was part of the rollout of a

Ireland will compete against 19 other nations to win the coveted trophy. Believe it or not, although

Ireland has competed in all 7 tournaments, we have yet to appear in a semi-final. Will this finally be the year that Joe Schmidt leads our team to victory?

Now is the time to get your company onto a winning streak by putting your brand onto rugby related premiums to tie in with the event. TPI Premiums will ‘try’ their best to guide you (we just couldn’t resist that pun!) Branded rugby balls are the obvious choice when it comes to running a rugby promotion – from mini balls to full size balls and from training to match quality, there is a ball to suit every budget. For those who prefer to be a little bit more discreet then we can also offer rugby ball keyrings.

We offer lots of supporter items for those wishing to drum up the atmosphere either at the match or back in the home or office. From inflatable hands to bang bang sticks we can help to motivate the crowd. For something a little bit different, how about skin-friendly face and body tattoos? A novel way to support the team!

TPI Premiums also offer a full range of supporter flags – from full size flags to hand held flags. There are also car flags and body flags should you wish to be a little bit different. Branded clothing is always a sure-fire winner when it comes to sports promotions. For small enquiries we can offer an ‘off-the-shelf’ solution from as little as 25 units. If you want fully customised clothing then let us help with the design.

The 2015 Rugby World Cup will be hosted by England this coming September with the final being held in Twickenham on October 31st.

HasbunAuto Repair firm Hasbun wanted creative business cards to show that they’re one of the biggest dealers in auto parts in El Salvador. Together with Apex BBDO, they’ve made business cards in the shape of engine gaskets. The cards were printed and cut on real metal, just like real engine gaskets.

Pause Business CardsThey say that the best camera is the one you have with you.
