A cost-effective solution for any application.Depending on how many passengers you are expecting, the Low Entry models from Setra enable you to select between different vehicle lengths: the S 415, the S 416 and the S 418 LE business. The latter model accommodates up to 61 seats, making it ideal if you plan on carrying many passengers in overland services. Economical fuel consumption, low maintenance and consistently optimised seating: the LE business is a typical representative of the MultiClass in all areas that really count. Designed for suburban overland lines, it fulfills the key requirements included in tenders for barrier-free passenger transport – with all the safety features you have come to expect from Setra.

Its low-entry concept makes the LE business both convenient and economical. The vehicle’s low-floor front section through to entrance 2 ensures easy entry for all passengers, while the high-floor rear section enables a high number of seats as well as easy access to drive components for cost-effective maintenance. Moreover, the LE business model’s seating concept, designed for maximum seating capacity, also contributes to its high-level efficiency.

Comfort for passengers and drivers. The LE business not only offers a low entry level at both doors, but also a robust, bright and friendly interior. Minimised vibration and road noise also enhance comfort.

The driver can look forward to a spacious and ergonomically optimised cockpit. For example, the steering column is adjustable in height and tilt, and all the important information on the central display can be read at a glance. The LE business is equipped as standard with a driver’s cab which can be supplemented with a practical storage shelf as an option.

The engine: low emissions – reduced consumption.The MultiClass LE business is driven by innovative engine technology from Mercedes-Benz. Its dynamic BlueEfficiency Power engines with BlueTec 6 ensure high environmental performance as well as high cost-effectiveness. In spite of advanced emissions reduction, its fuel consumption is pleasingly low. All performance levels deliver a smooth ride and low noise levels. Important for you. Important for us. Technical Data Stored in the Vehicle. Electronic vehicle components (e.g. Airbag Control Unit, Engine Control Unit) contain data storage for vehicle Technical Data, including but not limited

to Diagnostic Trouble Codes in the event of a malfunction, vehicle speed, braking force, or operating conditions of the Restraint System and Driver Assistance Systems in case of an accident (no audio and no video data recording). This data is either stored volatile, punctual as snapshot e.g. Diagnostic Trouble Codes,

over a short period of time (a few seconds only) e.g. in case of an accident or in aggregated form e.g. for component load evaluation. The data can be read using interfaces connected to the vehicle. Trained technicians can process and utilize the data to diagnose and repair possible malfunctions. The manufacturer can use the data to analyze and improve vehicle functions. When requested by the customer, Technical Data can form the basis of additional optional services.

In general, data from the vehicle is transferred to the manufacturer or a third party only according to legal allowance, or based on a contractual customer consent in accordance with data protection laws. Further information regarding storage of vehicle Technical Data is provided in the vehicle Owner’s Manual.
