Voting will take place on November 3rd for both in school students and our virtual students after a Zoom Election Assembly. Check back on Tuesday afternoon for the Election results. Good luck candidates!

Our next school spirit day is Tuesday, November 3rd. All of the students will be participating in voting for their student council officers. SCHOOL SPIRIT DAY!

Student Council News

School News

Thank you to Bright Star Theatre for providing Midland’s first ever virtual assembly called, “Happily Ever After.” Did your student tell you about it? The program is described in this way: Get ready to laugh out loud at our hilarious renditions of some of the best from the Grimm Brothers’ iconic works. In this (not-so-grim) adventure, our engaging performers

transform into Rapunzel, Little Red Riding Hood, Rumpelstiltskin and The Elves and the Shoe-maker. Sure to please any audience, Happily Ever After will make your fairy tale dreams of a perfect show come true!

October was Breast

Cancer Awareness

Month and Midland

showed up wearing

PINK to show their

support for all those

fighting breast cancer

and in memory of

those who have lost

the fight.

Students and staff

were in the Halloween

spirit and had fun

dressing in their

favorite Halloween

shirt or colors! There

was a lot of orange

and black seen in the

hallways!

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Dr. Enos, School Psychologist invites you to attend The Midland Parent Support Group Initial

Virtual Meeting scheduled for Monday, November 16 at 6:30 PM via Zoom. Recent times, in-

cluding into the present, have certainly been unprecedented and challenging. Fortunately,

with time and preparation, we have been able to return to in-person for school and other

Midland operations. At the same time, we recognize that you have been, and may likely

continue to be, faced with potentially daunting experiences.

The Midland Parent Support Group has been an avenue for collegial sharing of concerns,

information, and strategies. We would like to continue to offer this resource, now to reach

out to you, to hear your concerns and challenges, and to provide a means of listening and

support, starting with a virtual meeting. Hopefully the virtual, stay-at-home format and an

evening schedule will allow more to participate directly in the Parent Support Group.

To register, please call (908) 722-8222 Ext. 111 or send an email [email protected] and

please provide your name, phone number, email address and concerns or topics.

To join, please search The Midland School Parent Support Group on Facebook and request

to be added. Please feel free to offer any feedback or suggestions that will be helpful to you

and fellow parents/guardians to facilitate the support you deserve.
