We are at the start of another year with its new challenges and demands. You cannot wait to put the old year behind you. But, looking back at the year that was; did you do your very best? Were your goals, dreams and aspirations met? Was the Lord glorified in what you said and did last year?

Is looking back painful and heart breaking? Is looking back some-thing that makes you happy and glad to have had the experience? Was last year a bitter sweet one for you with the passing of a loved one? Was heart break, sick-ness and paying bills a burden for you? Did disappointment and hopelessness weigh you down?

“Pause and think”Or for the most part, was joy, laughter, pride and privilege with good success yours this past year.

“Pause and think”Through it all, was God glorified in what you said and did?

All these expenses were a part of all of our lives last year. For some of us the bitter outweighed the sweet and for others the sweet outweighed the bitter.

the winds blew, and at times you didn’t know what to do. The mountain high experience and the valley low experience all had an impact on your life, but was God glorified?

Although sometimes looking back can put things in perspec-tive, it gives a road map of where you were and where you hope to go.

This New Year let’s put God at the center of all we do. Let Him lead and guide your every step. This New Year let us devote our-selves to reading and studying God’s Word but most of all, give of your time and service to the King.

May God bless you as you obey His commands.
