FUTURE ORIENTED
The future-oriented Education, of course, is moving quickly to the tools of today and tomorrow. But Future-oriented Education goes way beyond that — far beyond just teaching “old things in new ways” — to offer kids entirely new things that we don’t teach today, either systematically or at all, but that are needed for tomorrow. These including connecting with people around the world via Twitter and Skype, doing complex analyses using new tools like Wolfram Alpha, creating new software apps, using CAD and 3D printing to create new physical products, simulating machines and populations using computer-based simulation tools, building and programming robots. and meeting in Virtual Worlds.
LEARNING BECOMES INTERESTING
It engages and challenge students with brand new interactive method.
IMPROVE SKILLS
The 21st century skills refers to a broad set of knowledge, skills, work habits, and character traits that are believed—by educators, school reformers, college professors, employers, and others—to be critically important to success in today’s world, particularly in collegiate programs and contemporary careers and workplaces. Generally speaking, 21st century skills can be applied in all academic subject areas, and in all educational, career, and civic settings throughout a student’s life.
INCREASE COLLABORATION
The concept of collaborative learning, the grouping and pairing of students for the purpose of achieving an academic goal, has been widely researched and advocated throughout the professional literature. The term "collaborative learning" refers to an instruction method in which students at various performance levels work together in small groups toward a common goal. The students are responsible for one another's learning as well as their own. Thus, the success of one student helps other students to be successful.
REDUCE WEIGHT
Our school recently adopted an online learning-management system that we feel goes a long way towards bridging information gaps between teachers, students, and parents. With this system, teachers can make course materials available to students online and can grade work and return it with comments, without leaving a physical paper trail. Students can revise their work, immediately resubmit it, and track their assignments. IN short, this online learning space allows teachers in our school to extend course content beyond the walls of the classroom, in effect transforming the mysterious, "closed" classroom into an open one.
